Pretty much, hopefully we get ozil and another player.
Good result. If it hadn't been for Lloris we would've have put 3 or 4 past them.
Second time this season (first being against City in Finland) we've seen Arsene line us up to soak up pressure on hit on the counter. Finally looks like he's putting a bit of effort into matchday tactics.
AVB fcked up big time with his team i think. A midfield three of Paulinho, Dembele and Capoue was always going to be blunt so he should've have gone with at least one of Holtby or Sigurdson. In saying that, they're both terrible so I can understand why he didn't. Also putting Defoe on for Dembele was pretty stupid as well. They weren't creating anything so why would putting another poacher on change things.
Ramsey is turning into a force of nature. Finished with more than three times as many tackles as their entire midfield combined (He had 7, Capoue had 1, Paulinho had 1 and Dembele didn't register a tackle).
Tough to pick who our man of the match was. Would be between Koscielny, Ramsey or Giroud for me.
Holtby is returning from injury and Sigurddson has been playing very poorly. Sandro is lacking fitness at the moment. Realistically, there wasn't much else he could have done. It goes to show how much we need Eriksen and Holtby, the latter should be fit to return to the top side soon.
Holtby terrible? Huh?
I'm very surprised Arsenal got Ozil and not someone like Benzema or a defender. Don't get me wrong, Ozil improves any team but the midfield you guys already have hardly needed 42 million pounds worth of strengthening. Seems like a very strange buy to me. Who have you guys got to fill in if Giroud goes down injured, or even Walcott and the fullbacks?
On that note, I'm sure everyone is ecstatic about Ozil, or in the bigger picture, Arsene actually spending money?
