5 is not "no contribution at all" 0 is "no contribution at all".

I considered they were approximately as good as one another.

Egan has a line break assist, try assist and forced drop out plus played more minutes(something that you take into consideration for other players you have said.)

Kenny has none of that. To rate them the same is objectively false. Just like the Dragons game Kenny played more minutes with a try assist so should get a higher score which you yourself did for the Dragons game!! This is why I've been arguing across the forum on Egan lately. This place is unfairly biased against him.

Edwards 9 (One of the best games I've seen him play)
Mansour 6
Naden 3 (His worst game to date)
Whare 5
To'o 5
Maloney 6
Cleary 6
Tamou 6
Kenny 5
Fisher-Harris 8 (Brilliant as always)
Yeo 5
Winterstein 5
Martin 5

Egan 5
Luai 5
Leota 7 (Big 2nd half)
Campbell-Gillard 5 (Leinu is waiting...)

Pretty average game from our team. Expected a loss/wake up call. They weren't really close to the Raiders yesterday. Line speed an issue for me (Especially in our own 20).

A couple of points:
  • The props all delivered good metres and plenty of tackles, even the much maligned RCG. The back row had a quiet game though and that's where we struggled out on the edges.
  • Does Egan have a cut in his scrotum? He seems to be afraid to open his legs and run in case his testicles fall out. 9 metres, I bet he got that running to retrieve his dropped mouth guard. This is on the back of a faster play the ball speed than the Raiders and more distance per set. He had 48 minutes to cover his 9 metres.
  • Overall, I think we were worthy of a 5/10. Not good, but not bad. Dumb football and an unbalanced bench made it a tough day.

Once again our forwards dominated the middle. JFH 197m (Yeo too) and 42 tackles. FFS, that's an incredible work rate. Two weeks in a row our props deliver 100m plus. Even Leota made 87m.

It is so obvious our problem is in the spine and backs. On paper two SOO halves should be killing it but we only have Too and Edwards in the backline with a semblance of pace and our hookers are not allowed to run in case they create confusion, or tear a hole in the space time continuum.

Some of you mark on a bizarre scale 5 should be a player who did nothing right or wrong. A base neutral score is 5, then it goes up or down

So running on the field and contributing nothing is a 5? Um, no. I view a 5 as a "pass" mark. And a pass implies a level of acceptable performance.

Given the level of dysfunction on the field, I can't see many 5's from tonight's match.

I see 1's for Luai. Runs on gets poked in the eye......still had a better gane than either half

Edwards, Fish and Martin are the only ones who looked liked they care.
