Need to add Travis Burns for completeness. He was in our team for 3 years. Gower also played 5/8th at times. I would rate the players this way:

1.Fittler
2.Gower
3.Campbell
4 Soward.
5.Carter
6. Burns

If Soward delivers another year like last year he might overtake Campbell. Personally, I would put Fittler at lock and then have Gower at 5/8th to pair with Brandy. Campbell's defence was a weak point that was covered by having Gower at half. If Brandy is at half, he is not a weak defender but not as tough as Gower, and Campbell becomes a bigger liability. Gower at 5/8th, Brandy at half and Fittler at lock would be tough, creative and have a number of kicking options if Brandy is marked. Great problem to have eh? Where to play champions like Gower and Fittler, with Soward and Campbell as other options as well. The salary cap might be a problem though!

I'd go 1.Brandy, 6.Fittler 7. Gower. 9. Simmons I think thats our best spine with lewis at lock.

For mine, I think 1.Wesser, 6.Fittler, 7.Brandy, 9.Priddis is stronger, still undecided between Lewis and Van der Voort for lock.

My Spine is: Wesser, Fittler, Brandy, Roycie. Gower bench. I put Lewis on the wing mainly due to lack of quality there. Means Vandervoort can be lock

That is true. We have never had a real star winger. Rooney was the closest but he only lasted a few years and towards the end he was very poor.

Gower rarely played six he was primary a Halfback or Hooker.
Too soon for Soward.
I would go for the 2 five eighths that helped deliver us premierships. Campbell or Carter as the nomination.

Campbell for me. He offers a completely different point of attack and put him next to a Centre like Fitler and his defence is less of a concern. Imagine having Rhys in support at the back Fitler in the centres along with Brandy and Campbell in the halves, and Fowler off the bench or at Hooker.

just a twist but Campbell and Alexander as a combination would not of worked both of the top of the head players.Carter took the presure of Alexander as Gower took the presure of Campbell with there ability to plot and organize.I think playing the most games and winning a comp go a long way to picking carter at 5/8 then Alexander at half

So just because you did the poll for centres first, Fittler gets picked in the centres? If you did the poll for 5/8 or lock first maybe he would have won those too. As it stands, Fittler has 11 votes out of 51 as a centre. He could potentially get far more than that in another position.

Maybe consider how many votes he gets for Five Eighth. If he gets more votes here than he should not be selected as centre.

Yeah, could do that. Either way some people won't be happy. My centres are Girds & Jennings, with Freddy at 6.

I am sure plenty of other sides are the same. Wingers rarely stay wingers all their careers though the quality in Centres and backrow means Lewis had to go somewhere. Aside from Gordon and maybe Mansour down the track wingers are very weak
