Correct.

I am a stats guy.

Manu Vatuvei in his prime cracked 180m ave a game.

To'o has pumped out 200+ 3 seasons straight, His best was 213m a game in 2022

He does the same at Origin, No one has done it to that level let alone for 3 seasons straight
All this on almost no kick return meters

That is a nothing story TBH. Based on what MAY happen. From two people not involved in negotiations. Fletcher has been stirring for months.

Unless it comes quoted from Luai or Matt Cameron I am not interested.
No one is forcing you to read.

I find Chammas pretty good. He is close to the club. Like you, I read Cameron's qoutes very carefully.

Telecrap are the worst . They get a qoute they like, and run a headline.
I listened to Michael Carayannus the other day on a podcast. That was painful. He had NFI.

Chammas is the only mainstream journo thr club deals with.

I trust his insights the rest have no idea and should be ignored until we get better mail or direct quotes

On Luai’s contract.Unless it comes quoted from Luai or Matt Cameron I don't take it seriously.
Actually, I think this story tells a lot about the club. JFH talks about "he's my bro..I love him and his family" and says "either way....I'm at peace with it (his decision). I think we all are at Penrith". How close is the bond at the club for players to talk in that way? That is the bond that builds a team that threepeats. It might be the thing that makes him stay. The bond of the brotherhood of the Panthers. We shall see.

Fletcher, not putting his foot in his mouth for a change then says "It will be great if he gets a financial win out of ability....If he does decide to go.. and sets up his family, how good is that?". The club is showing massive support and encouragement for him. Again, if he stops and thinks about that, he might decide that the culture at Penrith from top to bottom is supportive and encouraging and money can't buy that.

On the other hand, if he goes to the Tigers he will get a BBQ when he racks up ten years service......

Chammas is the best of the bunch. Every club has its favourites. Pengilly and Nicolussi get tips, occasionally.
Fatima from the DT gets some feature news when the club likes to promote themselves or a player.
The rest from the main papers forget.
