Yes, but we all know Phil Gould is a dickhead, every league fan has been exposed to his incessant whinging, and general douchebaggery.

Luke Lewis, on the other had, has for a long time been one of the hardest working and most respected players in the game. If it was not for him the Panthers record over the past ten years would be far more embarrassing.

It does not add up that he would no longer want to be part of the Penrith club simply because things are changing.

This is an interesting quote which validates it was not the panthers 'pushing' Luke.

He has been there many times that the Panthers have been out and stuck at the bottom of the ladder and always stuck by them.

Gould is a wanker of the highest order, and the worst part for Penrith fans is that he is too arrogant to admit he is wrong and will die with the club before standing down.
