So 7 dramas, 6 comedies and 2 animated.
Band of Brothers would be above all but I left out mini-series/documentaries.

A couple of posters have US shows exclusively. And I ask why?

As opposed to what? Neighbours, Home and Away, All Saints and other shit Aussie TV

It's entirely scripted by a pair of actors. I used to think of it as a straight comedy.

Kenny Hotz still maintains that it was mostly reality, there were some parts that were obvious sketches and scripted parts though.

Great show regardless.

Good. I think it's a good show but highly overrated and shouldn't be put in the same league as Band of Brothers, The Wire or Breaking Bad.

Always thought Band of Brothers was overrated, I find most war dramas get overrated regardless of whether it's a novel, tv show or movie.

You're asking why because you haven't seen them and aren't willing to give them a go. Put simply they have high production values, the best writers and the best actors for the role.
