Nah they didnt change the name. Loved the show in its day but Daryl was just painfully unfunny by that stage, ok maybe he always was. Remember Red hosted a game show called Shafted, it didnt last long.

#25: Futurama (1999 - 2003/2008 - 2013) - 138 points

Cast: Billy West, Katey Sagal, John DiMaggio, Tress MacNeille, Lauren Tom, Maurice LaMarche, and Phil LaMarr.
Awards: Emmy for Best Animated Program and Outstanding Voice-Over Performance (2011) and Outstanding Voice-Over Performance (2012) - both Maurice LaMarche.

The brain child of Matt Groening of Simpsons fame, Futurama grew from spin-off to full-blown phenomenon of its own. While the science fiction comedy never soared to the same dizzying heights as Groening's most famed creation, Futurama nonetheless developed a cult following thanks to its sci-fi puns, witty dialogue, and unique vision for the future.

After being cancelled by Fox in 2003, the show's cult following and its success on Adult Swim spawned a series of telemovies and an eventual revival of the show on Comedy Central.

#24: Parks & Recreation (2009 - 2015) - 147 points

While it might have started off feeling like an Office spin-off, Parks & Recreation would go onto become one of the most influential sitcoms of the last decade, with particularly strong performances from Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman. The show also gave the world Chris Pratt, for better or worse.

Focused on the day to day running of a small-town parks & recreation department, the beloved show utilized a similar formula to other popular sitcoms such as The Office and Community - injecting a healthy dose of whimsy into a seemingly dry environment. Full of quotable and memeable moments, Parks & Recreation enjoyed a hugely successful seven seasons, and even had a reunion special in 2020.

#23: The Wonder Years (1988 - 1993) - 153 points

Cast: Fred Savage, Dan Lauria, Alley Mills, Olivia D'aborigine, Jason Hervey, Josh Saviano, and Danica McKellar.
Awards: Golden Globe for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical (1989), Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series (1988), Emmy for Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series (1989, 1990), and Emmy for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series (1989).

A coming of age series set in suburban America during the late 60s and early 70s, The Wonder Years capitalized on immense nostalgia for what many Americans idealise as "simpler times", while also tapping into a youth market who saw themselves mirrored in the struggles of precocious Kevin Arnold and his friends.

The Wonder Years enjoyed six successful years on ABC, before conflict between the network (who wanted more mature storylines) and the show-runners (who viewed the show as a time capsule of more innocent times) brought an end to its run.

#22: Bojack Horseman (2014 - 2020) - 156 points

Cast: Will Arnett, Alison Brie, Amy Sedaris, Paul F. Tompkins, and Aaron Paul.
Awards: Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program (2019).

Who would have thought that an animated show about an anthropomorphic horse struggling with his own mediocrity years after the cancellation of his tacky sitcom would prove so compelling? While its early episodes might have been more cheese than substance, Bojack Horseman came into its own as it tackle issues such as racism, alcoholism, drug abuse, sexual abuse, abortion, and much, much more.

A character study into a washed up actor struggling with crippling depression, Bojack Horseman alternated wildly between moments of hilarity and soul-destroying introspection. Not one to binge, it is nonetheless one that everybody should watch.

#21: Blackadder (1983 - 1989) - 159 points

Creator: Richard Curtis & Rowan Atkinson
Network(s): BBC1
Cast: Rowan Atkinson, Tony Robinson, Tim McInnerny, Miranda Richardson, Stephen Fry, and Hugh Laurie.
Awards: N/A

A classic British comedy rounds out an all comedy first five entries in our countdown, with Rowan Atkinson's surreal, dark comedy, Blackadder sliding in at #26. Following the exploits of generations of the titular Blackadder family across multiple time periods, the show's central theme was on the cowardice, avarice, lust, and general despicable nature of Rowan Atkinson's Blackadder.

With its first season set in 1485 and its last set in 1917, the series jumped hilariously through significant time periods in British history. Like all things good and British, Blackadder was served by its brevity - spawning just 24 episodes across four seasons (as well as three specials).
