I think that although reasonable comment made, Mat is an absolute keeper. He does need to be told what to work on, but his issues are related to an entire defence problem. Uncertainty is created by how players defend and more critically how they work together. Get the teams plans right, and suddenly he will look like gold.

that said, he is a powerful defended and a big body, but not as fast as others. Some teams can take advantage, and it depends on the team Flanno will create.

Our left side isn’t scoring tries but is letting plenty in. The last few weeks even the commentators have started highlighting the weakness there. we need a rebuild on the left hand side and i am not convinced that Feagai is a part of the future.
Im prepared to give him a chance with a decent coaching structure, maybe the same result but worth a try.

The two logs inside him are the real problem

Fegai doesn’t trust either of them so he comes in to cut off the threat

They have both already got to the dogs but one can only hope that they are joining the dogs for next season
The Feagai twins are good players that need time. I hope they both stay but wherever they end up they will be solid first graders.
We will probably be stuck with Suli, powerful runner who can not pass or defend in the centres.
Move him to the backrow or arivadechi

Sloan is also a worse than weak tackler which detracts in a big way from his strengths. Any decent opposition will expose these weaknesses.

There are many on here who were happy to say goodbye to Garrick and SAAB. Garrick was classified as not being good enough for 1st grade and too slow and SAAB took too long to field kicks and then turn and make metres.

I hope we are not exiting these 2, before they have had time to develop fully.

I agree. Matt has shown some promise and under Flanno should improve.
