Souths Till I Die

I don't believe Maguire has lost the dressing room yet. The display vs Canberra was a concern but against the Sharks the week before the team gave 100%

Maguire is young in coaching terms and would still have things to learn. His 2 mistakes so far at Souths have been recruitment and failure to change his game plan. But if he acknowledges his mistakes in these 2 areas they can be fixed. Apart from that Maguire has been far and away the best coach Souths have had in the last 30 years. No coach did a thing for Souths between George Piggins in the late 1980s and Maguire

Souths need to work out who are their positives and who are their negatives. Keep the positives and get rid of the negatives. Maguire is still one of Souths positives

I can see a scenario looming where Maguire leaves and Crichton leaves and both kill it elsewhere while Souths sink further into the swamp and go back to the club that existed between 1990 and 2006

I agree. What does a coach do when he loses the dressing room though?
Maguire will be a great pick up for another club the same as Luke Keary, Dylan Walker, Api Koroisau and Nathan Brown

you forgot the best player ben teo.....auvaa is missed also i even miss lote tuquiri he was far far better than jennings/burns/talakai/nielsen/murphy combined .!!!!!!!!!!..At least lote even though he was an old man he was still a real 1st grade player in 2014 unlike these duds today: jennings/burns/talakai/nielsen/murphy .

Auva'a was a class player in 2014. It's easy to forget because his lost a lot of that talent. I wonder if we can transform Beale into a Lote 2.0

I see what your saying mate but the display against the sharks wasn't that great either. We can't just be satisfied with close losses? I understand Maguire doesn't have the roster but he also isn't working with what he has. Walker should've been at 5/8th the whole season.

People just aren't happy with 14th especially after we were premiers only 3 years ago.

Would anyone be interested in Laurie Daley?
Rep coaching is totally different to club coaching so his record against a QLD team full of immortals doesn't put me off.

I know some people want to see Madge given another shot but for me it's still time for a change.

Daley doesn't fill me with any confidence.

Beale is being chased by knights who will pay overs in their quest for success

Will be an awesome buy for them. How much overs can you demand as a winger? I reckon they'll offer him 300k that's what I would've given him considering he would take both Goodwin and grays money.
