Drew is launching Boston Legal this Friday and RHCP should be following shortly after with his The Ashes game.

I'm set to launch Miser's Falls on the 11th or 12th of July.

That should be fine. Jason M's Diablo III is technically ahead, but he hasn't said whether or not it will be ready just yet.

Watching the Community episode about Dungeons & Dragons makes me really keen to run a D&D-ish game. No knowledge of the game would be needed, as it would be done as a kind of parody of fantasy in general.

Would there be interest in that kind of game?

I'd be keen for a D&D game. If you're going the parody angle, look up a card game called Munchkin. It's a brilliant parody of RPGs in general, by Steve Jackson (the bloke behind Games Workshop). I was thinking of designing a game based directly on Munchkin, because they've already done all the parody leg work (and quite brilliantly, I might add). But I won't steal your thunder if that's what you want to do.

My game is actually a pastiche of all 3 Diablo games, not just Diablo III. Should be ready to go in a couple of weeks, though I'm fine for whall to nick in ahead of me. My game is quite complex, and messes a bit with the voting process (side effect will be not many people dying early, but lots of blood later on), so I'll be sticking up a game info thread a week or so before I run it to give people a chance to digest how the game will actually work and to ask questions. I might add that no prior knowledge of any of the games is required.

I'd be keen as f**k to play d&d. Just keep the roles nameless, and let folk name themselves. Then parody away.

I'm familiar with (and love) Munchkin. It'd be parody in that vein, although also referencing other popular fantasy stuff like Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, Twilight etc.

Toying with either multiple parties in a dungen or the town being bad guys in a dungeon while the mafia (adventurers) clear them out.

I'll be New Zealand.

Every night phase we perform the haka to a given player and they are so intimidated they are unable to perform their night action.

Either that or we can't be targeted at night because there are too many other sheep in the paddock.

Gives me an idea, somebody could do a countries mafia.

Factions could be continent based, or 1st/3rd world based

I like it. I might give it a crack if no one else wants it. You dont want to run it Bazzi?

Actually if you're going to give it a shot, I wouldn't mind watching over you and giving you a hand.

Get some experience before I run one of my own.

Yeah, no problem. The Mrs & kids are away so I will be bored shitless on Sunday. I will get an outline written up you can have a look & see what you think. It would be good to collaborate with someone on a game.

We can do it all in a QT. When its up I will PM you the link. After I got killed in Dutchy's game he linked me into his QT set up. It seemed a good way to run it, so I used a similar format for Life of Brian. It was pretty easy to manage it like that.
