This is where NRL should step in. Most people thought the Bank West opening should of been on FTA.

So put that on 9 with the trade off being last nights game moves to Sunday.

This is where the NRL need to think ahead. No one loses a game that way on TV and the game gets what is best for it
The whole reason we had a Thursday game was because the FTA broadcaster demanded it. The NRL didn't want a Thursday game.

So no, swapping Bankwest's opening for last night's game was never an option. Thursday rates its arse off.

The could have done more to get a bigger crowd last night.
Eg:
1. Make it compulsory for all NRL players to be there (make them sit with their mum and partner/wife).
2. Have a broncos training session
3. Have a half time fastest man in league race
4. Have a half time goal kicking comp best of 3 from the side line
5. Have a drop kick comp
6. Have an egg Gould for charity event.
7. Have a wrestle between the two best wrestling coaches

8. Mums get in free night.

What's the proof mechanism? Hold up your child to the ticket window and say I'm a mum?
Just include a free ticket with any purchase to "bring your mum" if they bring someone else does it really matter?

Or reduce the price of family passes

I was being facetious.

Apparently sales are strong for Sunday anyway so it might not matter.

Sunday is going to be a good crowd anyway, so they should have done it for last night.

I know there is still a half hour to go but looking at the pictures at Fox there is hardly nobody there..

Has been the case for something like 4-5 years from memory. Keep up.

Haven't Titans and Storm also taken their home games, against the Broncos to Brisbane, in the past few years? How do the Broncos keep overcoming such adversity?

It may have written “away” next to the Broncos but it certainly is not an away game
For the stuff that matters to clubs (i.e. finances) it is definitely a Manly home game.

Not sure what you're on.

The Storm have taken their match against the Titans to Suncorp for the last two seasons.

I don't think the Titans have played any home games at Suncorp since 2007 - one against the Dragons in Round 1 and then later in the season against the Broncos.

"It hardly looks like anyone's there" - it's still Suncorp, a 52,500 seat venue. What looks sparse there is often above the capacity of all Sydney's suburbvan venues.

Yeah a great experience tonight. About 27 people in the crowd in total, but it felt pretty awesome.
Re the disabled access situ.
One of the best set ups I’ve ever seen, booked a park yesterday no worries, rock up tonight and escorted to a park 50m from gate D. My dad had a ball
Good customer service. Top stuff!
