Manly Salary Cap

You simple, simple, simple freak.

The NRL can have a salary cap because a salary cap is not legislated under common law.

Privacy laws are legislated under common law.

So when the NRL tries to supercede privacy laws that are legislated under common law, it can't.

Are you actually this f*cking stupid, or are you just being an obtuse c**k?
Can you go through that again, I wasn't listening

I love ED is using DT as a source now. Normally this sack bitches and moans about the media, in particular the DT, but in this case it is a reliable source.

He can stop jerking off to the idea of Manly getting sanctioned anyway. At least from the point of view of not providing personal devices:
http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/...salary-cap-investigation-20170728-gxl9zf.html

Manly have avoided heavy penalties after complying with the NRL's request to hand over personal phones and laptops as part of the salary cap investigation.

Sea Eagles chairman Scott Penn has promised to co-operate with the governing body's probe from the outset, although the club sought legal advice over its obligations regarding personal electronic devices.

While club-issued mobile phones and computers are fair game, the Silvertails checked their rights when it comes to personal mobiles, computers and the like. After doing so, they have given the NRL everything it has asked for and in the process avoided a range of potential sanctions that include the deregistration of officials, fines and the deduction of competition points.

It is understood Penn and football boss Bob Fulton haven't yet handed over their phones or computers because they have been overseas, but both plan to fully co-operate.

you poor dense bastard

these privacy laws you keep jerking off over would also cover the computers and phones your mob have let the NRL access

your mob are trying to dispute the agreement that every club has signed

i wonder why?

Hey sweetheart, I said that privacy laws (and any laws) override any clauses that the NRL or any organisation care to put in their contract.

There is no disputing that at all.

The fact they may be turning over phones etc does not change that fact.

Nor does it change the fact your IQ is sub 70.

f**ked if i know but so far they are yet to catch anyone without a whistle blower

I remember Greenburg on 360 last year saying it was pretty much impossible for the NRL to uncover a concerted effort to rort the salary cap without a whistle blower. I agree it probably is, but f**k mate at least maintain the illusion that you're in charge and semi-competent to enforce your own rules.

As for those taking the "if you've done nothing wrong, what have you got to hide" line I challenge you to not use private browsing mode for a month, then post your browser history for all to see. If you're doing nothing illegal you should have no problems with that being out in the open.
