The court ruled the NSWRL draft was illegal. The NSWRL couldn't run a draft anymore, because it was deemed illegal. The AFL is an entirely different organisation, why would Terry Hill want the AFL draft stopped - his action was against the NSWRL, not every organisation that has a draft.

The AFL's draft still operates, because no one has brought an action to have the AFL draft stopped.
