Piss off Feej, you and I and all the other idiots in here are hanging in there because we have failed and continue to fail.

We should of done a Barty and quit before kick off in 2017. Quit while we were ontop.

Just severed all ties and keep watching the 2016 GF on loop.

Narhhhhh we are just declared idiots till death.

How about the LGBTQIA homeless women’s and men that don’t work good round?
It’s got nothing to do with your preference or lifestyle, but yes they need to put forth more on issues like the homeless. Every other weekend has a round for everything else - reminds me of standing at the dawn service on Anzac Day and the names read out from the local club ie- the indoor bowls club, the darts club, the snooker club - it just goes on and on….
I urge anyone on here to go and spend a few nights on food van with Vinnies to see how dire it is. The forgotten few are becoming the many….
Sorry rant over

It would be fascinating to see how the organisation would sort this out. Their would likely be plenty of blame being tossed around.

It's a shame for the marketing folk as it's clear they were trying to do something they thought would be positive. They didn't consult stakeholders and so it got messy quickly.

I found it strange that Dessie fronted the press conference instead of someone from the commercial side like the CEO.

I guess Trent Barrett was right - the club is a shambles and the coach has to do everything. Just like when Ricky Stuart was Cronulla Head Coach, he was also our de facto CEO, Recruiting Director, Juniors Director, Sponsorships Director, Finance Director, etc. Then Flanno of course was Head Tiler.

Manly have named a 20 man squad, I thought rules were you had to name 22, I know they have players who won't play, but I thought there was a rule in place.
Ex sharks players Roumanos is in the squad

I don’t think there’s a rule that you HAVE to name 22

if you don’t have that many players then you can’t name that many

this manly thing will see all those players not playing this week come back and have a blinder against next week at Brooky, you watch

Apparently the 7 will all be made to sit in the stands. Hopefully the crowd is made up of full rainbow attire wearing attendees.

So they won’t wear the jersey but they are still attending the celebration.

That’s very funny.

To me that is endorsing what Manly have organised just as much as wearing the jersey.

Statistically speaking it’s likely one of those sitting out has sucked a cork in their lifetime and are trying to hide it.

Too much? Channeling uncle sad. Whatevs.

The way society is going. In a few years time if you don’t bend down and salute the flag they will probably take you out back and eliminate you.

Chin up old son!

Whenever life gets you down, Mrs. Brown
And things seem hard or tough
And people are stupid
Obnoxious or daft
And you feel that you've had
Quite enough

Just remember that you're standing
On a planet that's evolving
And revolving at nine hundred miles an hour
That's orbiting at nineteen miles a second
So it's reckoned
The sun that is the source of all our power

The sun and you and me and all the stars that we can see
Are moving at a million miles a day
In an outer spiral arm, at four hundred thousand miles an hour
In the galaxy we call the Milky Way

Our galaxy itself contains a hundred billion stars
It's a hundred thousand light years side to side
It bulges in the middle, six thousand light years thick
But out by us, it's just a thousand light years wide

We're thirty thousand light years from galactic central point
We go 'round every two hundred million years
And our galaxy is only one of millions of billions
In this amazing and expanding universe

The universe itself keeps on expanding and expanding
In all of the directions it can whizz
As fast as it can go, of the speed of light, you know
Twelve million miles a minute and that's the fastest speed there is

So remember, when you're feeling very small and insecure
How amazingly unlikely is your birth
And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere out in space
'Cause it's bugger all down here on Earth

Kudos to Des Hasler. The poor merkin doesn't deserve this shit. It was a great speech however collaborated, it was well delivered by him.
Mind you Fox putting dramatic music behind the speech was vomit inducing.
Anyway lol at Manly.

This is something the Sharks would do in a season. You all know what I'm on about hahaha

I’m personally really looking forward to the ‘People who like wearing Oodies’ round, which is scheduled for the second weekend of pre-season games next year.

Wayne Bennett has agreed to appear in promotional material..

Tim Sheens is still considering it.
Pretty simple, your employment requires you to wear a uniform, like millions of Australians, you do not get to choose the uniform, it is supplied. The corporation and via marketing holds the right to choose and bares responsibility for any such uniform.

So an atheist Coles worker can refuse to work at Xmas and Easter periods as they cannot agree with Santa shirts or Easter bunny shirts.

Bunch of spoilt children, they are free to find employment where uniforms are not required. You are not special, you are employees, wear what your told like everyone else you precious Nancy's.

Suckinevery-Bill Williams and his preciousiness, still cannot believe they pandered to him. Hypocrite that he is.

f**k employees, do not like it, sack em.

So if your employer requires you to wear a swastika badge on your uniform, that’s okay?

Are ‘Paedophiles are great!’ signs okay?

Where is the line drawn?

When the philosophy of relativism drives you, truth is a movable line in the sand.

That’s one of the reasons why people feel hopeless, because they don’t have an actual foundation to build their life on.

No we live in a parliamentary democracy and have laws against many things, the corporation would be liable.

They are not promoting anything Australians have outlawed.

Where does it stop, with our laws. Corporations are free to promote anything deemed legal.

Employees who enter into employment contracts where are uniform a requirement, can wear the uniform or find employment elsewhere.

It is not complex or emotive, it is the law.

they wouldn't wear the shirt if they so choose.

Plenty of people in those christian holiday periods that choose to wear the normal uniform. It's not mandated you must wear this shirt.

so your company trots out a uniform sponsored by Epstein's former hedge fund.

what do you do?

It's captured within anti discrimination legislation.

they are actually being discriminated against.

this is not accepted as part of any corporation.
