Good game by Manly, poor performance by us, apart from decent games from Whatuira, Rieck and Prince.

Hopoate has to be the biggest idiot in the NRL - still.

It took him only 2 weeks to break his promise he made in the papers.

Manly played with alot of confidence and seemed to have a few combinations working well. Unfortunately for us Reynolds was out as replacement 5/8th and a few other players originally named were no where to be seen. All in all though i'm certainly not devastated by the loss and look forward to Round 1 and wish Manly the best of luck

good win for manly, was at the game.
tigers fan.

full wraps to your blokes.

witt is an excellent buy, and you don't have anything to worry about in the forward pack.
did look a bit soft in defense in the backs.
thought hickenberg and menzies had good games.
BK didn't do much.

keep up performances like that, and you'll be top 8 bound for sure.

by the way, witt kicked 3 for the touchline.
brillant kicking.

LOL....a scrums packing down on Manlys 20.....hopoates mouthing off to Wilson I think....Steve clark leaves the scrum and goes over to tell hoppa to shut it. This is a little difficult for |Hoppa to comprehend, Clark has to explain to him for about 10 seconds to zip it.

He must have the only mullet in Manly, f**kin dropkick.
Started a blue with Scott prince too....not Skando or Payten...little Scott prince.

hoppa is a big liability to manly.

tezza went better than expected, although i expected him to pull a hammy on his sencond hitup, so i'm not sure if it counts.
:)

BTW - Witt = another great move by Brian Smith and Parramatta.

Apparently (if you believe the Parra fans) he doesn't know how to attack.....

P1ss poor excuse.

He's a good player and will only get better - and a very handy goalkicker.

Steered Manly around the park pretty well.

He was shithouse at halfback for us at Parra apart from his ok kicking game both in general play and for points he (witt) did not have any creativity and went missing all the time. Maybe 5/8 is more his go but he can't lead the team around the park. He is no halfback, Monaghan should be the Manly half for sure.

sure was....considering we have a certain Tim Smith at the club ;-)

Yep, just like you have players to replace all the great players you let go each year.

Another masterstroke from one Brian Smith should see Witt tear you a new one when you play Manly. ;-)
