I saw that break he made but i also saw try he let in by rushing out of the line and getting burnt by Winterstein.

Koro is exciting but like a lot of wingers he has his flaws, still prefer to have him at the WT, but didn't we get Lodge in exchange when they switched clubs last season.

Because our cap was utterly f**ked to be blunt about it.

We were on our way to a big fine

Wanted to much ... big fine. .. Which one is it ?
Who gives a f**k anyway . plenty of useless merkins that should have gone first.WT SCREWED UP AGAIN !! I knew he was going to kill it at the Storm . All the best Kori , you have a side and club plus supporters who are idolizing your ability. And to think he was playing in state cup for us. Totally f**king insane :(

I agree and I can't see the reasoning behind not keeping him. Yes Richards was great today but I wonder if we had Koro flying onto the ball if it wouldn't have been a different story more consistently.

The truth.

Marika Koroibete didn't want to play for the Tigers anymore and the Tigers should have sacked him for not showing up to training. He'd lost the respect of the playing group.

Matt Lodge couldn't play for the Storm anymore because of an altercation and lost the respect of the playing group.

Rather than just sack them, the sides came to an agreement to trade.

Koroibete was the best winger not playing NRL. Lodge was the best prop not playing NRL. Fair trade.

Galloway has seemed pretty good to me. He and Tapau seem to have a pretty good one-two punch up the middle combo going.

I know there is no record of it, but I would love to see a how much yardage we concede per set when Galloway is on the field vs when he is off the field. He really holds the middle of the field together well for our defence but it's one of those things that goes unnoticed.

If this is true then Bellamy has played us off a break...

He obviously saw something he could work with and improve with Koro, and it seems to be working...

At the moment Lodge has potential, but if Bellamy couldn't get his discipline on the straight and narrow, then what makes you think we can?

Different players respond to different approaches Buffalo.

Lodge might not need a hardarse like Bellamy to bring the best out in him, he might respond better to a someone who provides guidance rather than a totalitarian. Koroibete might have responded to Taylor, we don't know. At the end of the day he didn't want to be here and I'll take a Fitzhenry or Utai who always tried their guts out in our jersey than a Koroibete who doesn't want to show his coach or his team mates respect by showing up to training.

Apart from Koroibete and Fifita, who has gone on from WT to absolutely kill it elsewhere?

We generally keep the players we want, that's a pretty good track record to be quite honest.

Galloway was very good yesterday. He is performing very well this year.

This season he has been good unlike other seasons before hand where he was ordinary at best, hopefully he will keep up with the good form throughout the season.

We have actually got an outstanding track record of keeping who we want ever since 2000.

Released under contract Ellis, Fifita and Korobiete.
Lost.........anybody significant?

Consider those released as well.

Ellis went home to have an injury plagued season, Fifita had a breakout year at Cronulla and has subsequently gone to shit and Koroibete has only been away for a season, let's give him a bit more time before we figure out whether he is the real deal.

Would you want to be at a club scoring 2and 3 tries a game in lower grades , where players such as you mentioned are picked ahead of you ?
As for his flaws , they are magically disappearing under a coaching system with an eye for talent and the ability and patience to properly development it.
Anyway he is gone , but its very frustrating just the same.

Fair call Macca, at the same time we generally keep who we want, which alludes to whether Koroibete actually wanted to be here or not.

We didn't let him go, he chose to go. He was told by Potter to fight for his spot and push for top grade selection. Sure he could score the tries in NSW Cup but he was effectively a turnstile in defence (something Bellyache has fixed up).
