The breakup of the bromance was embarrassingly awkward. Instead of concentrating on Ben’s achievements they showed a highlights package of the two of them together FFS. In the sauce challenge to start the show Andy nearly broke down in tears when Ben was given negative feedback by the judges.

In the announcement of the elimination Ben and Andy were on opposite ends of the line, when it was announced Ben was leaving Andy just about broke down and somehow they ended up standing next to each other and were nearly arm in arm. You could tell the girls were weirded out by it all.

On a side note I wonder if the producers have inadvertently revealed that Andy won’t be winning by saying that Ben is currently looking to open a Mexican restaurant with Andy. Surely the winner would be booked up for a year after the show...

They don't even know the winner yet, the final episode is live. They all end up going home at the end of tonight's episode and then go back for the final.

Last night’s episode really didn’t make the show look good. 2 of the alleged best 4 amateur cooks in the country ran out of time and delivered a crap dish in a challenge where they could make what they want. A 3rd also ran out of time but ended up delivering a good alternative albeit with the help of an expert.

Andy definitely deserved to win on the basis of his performance this week but I still expect Audra to pull out the win. Sending Mindy home was the right decision, her dish was raw.

If you watch the promo and look when they show you the dessert dish they have to cook you can see the final two's reflections on it, it's not 100 per cent clear, but you can make them out.

Lol I can’t say I was watching that closely so I have no idea who you are alluding to. When it was revealed that the final challenge would be a pressure test featuring a dessert I immediately felt sorry for Andy. That must be his worst nightmare whilst Audra would be indifferent and Julia would be doing star jumps.

Really hope Andy wins, IMO he's the only real amateur left in the competition, Audra is a professional caterer and Julia sells her cakes every weekend, and IMO neither Audra nor Julia have really grown much during the competition, both came in with certain strengths and have always gone back to those, where as Andy came in with a very limited skill set and has grown steadily throughout the competition.

Yeah Andrew has definitely improved the most and he's not stubborn like Julia and Audra which is perhaps why he improved the most.
