looks like we'll roll them for something sub 200, and win it easily, but geez we haven't been very impressive so far this tournament, despite being undefeated.

Canadians have stacked their batting lineup too.

Karl Whatham is a specialist batman coming in at 8.

They can't have much firepower to defend this total.

Finally we can get onto the serious stuff, high time the bowlers got their act together.

good comeback from Lee after a sh*t start

this game further highlights the need for a decent spin attack in the sub continent, flat pitch dry conditions and no swing, our quicks couldn't even put pressure on Canada and their 40 year old opening batsman, who just happens to be our spin bowling coach, how ironic

I dont see us worrying too many of the heavyweights

Krejza is rubbish, he can't tie down one end and the good teams will smash him everyhwere because he can't bowl 2 balls on the same spot.

Really hope Punter calls it a day after the World Cup his age is showing and Clarke handles the young blokes so much better and is a much better Captain tactically IMO.

In Pontings defence that was absolute amateur hour from Smith. Who he called off the ball at least three times.

Agreed. Ponting had every right to get angry.

Poor old Punter is damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.

Come on guys, thats kind of stuff happens all the time. It wasn't right for Punter to blow up like that. Pull him aside in the sheds and give it to him there. Smith is only a young bloke and Ponting was probably one of his heros as a kid, and for him to do that in front of the world doesn't sit well with me.

looked that way, but who knows what Smith heard?

either way communication was real poor on someones part

I wouldnt have thrown the ball down like Punter did, no need for that from a seasoned and experienced captain like Punter, reminds me of nathan brown slapping barrett on the sidelines
