I worked it out tackles insides opposition 20 vs forced drop outs and we are second worst behind Manly. Basically takes us 5 sets of 6 in the 20 before we get a repeat set.. To compare it to Panthers, they only need 14 tackles or approx. 3 sets.

... this was highlighted in the forum before we signed Pearce - that this stat was a major concern, esp considering the dollars he is on.

What's the origin stat - 19 games without a single repeat set.

Surely the statisticians missed one yeah? Surely. That's not possible.

Recently I saw Cronk talk about if you are in the opposition 20m with the ball you are looking for either a try or drop out result from your kick. It seems Pearce often tries just to give them the ball in poor position to come out from.

... and that can not be blamed on any deficiency within the side. That is simply a skill and mindset that a 300 game, million dollar, representative halfback does not have.

Cleary is 1st with 26 .....huge difference

Pretty much guarantee nobody else that was in a top 8 side.

It was discussed on NRL360 tonight about how good some of the top 8 5/8’s have been going, Keary, Luai, Wighton, Munster, Walker, and Brown are the ones left in the top 6. If that’s not an indication that we need to find someone to fill that hole...
