Please let us count Pearce as our starting 7.
3 winners without, so far this week.

Also, my tipping suggests we win. I’m duck egg.

Pearce is gone, unlikely based on form towards end last season and his France matches we will be better with Clune if he play close to or his best. Just hope whole team, all 17 give its best and when all is finished I will be happy to be in front of Manly before start round 2.

One thing I do look forward to with Clune is his speed. Pearce offered very little running threat, which was one of his key strengths as a younger player. Clune will be deadly on the counter attack which I hope we attempt more of this season.

You mean we can‘t count Pearce?

Well, my attempt at a humorous post obviously didn’t translate. I’ll try to be less subtle.

We are gunna get pumped

So PUMPED UP we will go out and dominate the Roosters tomorrow?

I'm so pumped for the game. I get so pumped up every year for the first game of the season. I really hope we put up a fight, even if we do lose. Also, I hope someone knocks Connors head off.

Just want to see something different that puts the Roosters game plan under pressure. Joey claims that KP will be roving , so let us see what that actually looks like.

I’m not expecting much from this game but I just want to see us push them for 80 mins. Too often against the Roosters we just roll over and are beaten by 20+ points but if we lose today I can at least be proud if we keep the margin to 1-2 tries.

Joey giving props to Clune with his pace and football intelligence. I am hopeful this guy is about to make his mark.

Really interesting choice for 18th man...

I'd always think you'd want the most versatile player there. What's the stats on who goes down for HIA more? Backs or forwards?
