Yes this is what it comes down to. The ref has been atrocious but we've pissed the game up the wall off our own bat. The ref is making me angry but nowhere near as angry as our team.

After letting in the try within the first 7 minutes we started getting on the front foot and getting close to making good opportunities. Lacking direction in attacking zone and dumb errors and penalties. We can fix that up quickly, but will we?

Exactly. The ref/bunker has been dog shit bad but my God .. How many opportunities have we blown now?

I still think we'll win but I was hoping we would put in an 80 minute performance.

This is my worry. Hopefully he’s not that short-sighted. It’s round 1 and we’re trying to be a lot more adventurous with the ball. As angry as I am about the 52% we were always doing to make some errors.
