I don't like to crap on the refs but the worst performance I've ever seen. Imagine the Roosters or Penrith were on the end of something like this. Media would have gone crazy.

It was very, very rusty in attack, but really good in defence. Fletch is going to be a star - but we were wasting him in the first half having him at the play the ball so often.

The refereeing - absolutely terrible. Disgraceful. Pony up the $10K and get stuck in AOB.

That was really a dud game all round, only interesting because of the close score. I don't care too much because it's Round 1, just happy we won really. We've gotta win those types of games if we want to make the 8.

Round 1 the most important thing is to bag the 2 points and we did that. We’re always going to have some scrappy games especially early in the year but we came out on top late in the game. The team looks fit though, our forwards looked really strong in that last 20 mins.

Tigers will need to improve massively in defense if they want to get near the top 8. If they were against a proper top 4 side like Penrith or Storm, they would have lost by 70. Dead set we bombed (mostly Best) a lot of tries.

Our kicking game is woeful. Don't expect much from Sharpe because he is new in the spine and is seriously a weapon in attack but Ponga and whoever the halfback is needs to step up. Wouldn't mind seeing some kicks out of dummy half from Crossland instead of it going to Cogger all the time.

Lucas is going to play Origin this year. Frizz in the middle and KPP on the right is the correct call. KPP still not offloading as much as I think he can but hopefully it'll come.

Ponga wow. He looks the best player in the world. How good was his defense and that kick return. Wow.

If KPP doesn't hit his straps soon he won't be a Knight next year. Just not seeing enough from him, and haven't since he got here. He'd have to take a massive paycut to entertain it imo. I want him to get there, but he needs to find some more aggression and just hit holes hard and actually make these offloads stick.

Im willing to give KPP a bit more time to make a judgement. It was his first year in the NRL last year and we didn’t use him well.
