Brooks has had 4 coaches now he he has always been just your average halfback that plays in a team that always misses the finals but isn't ever the worst halfback he has been stuck in the middle of the road where he fails to play a good 80mins consistently.

Madge doesn't have the cattle but I'm glad for once we are holding players responsible not the coach because you just end up being like the dogs where you don't ever get fixed because the board expects a 5 year fix can be done in 2 years after the coach inherits 8 years and 3 previous coaches/CEO's problems. The culture has changed like we don't ever get smashed it's all about having a consistent 17 on the field and the longer they play I think results will come.

It's hard after not making the finals for so long. I think as a whole we are going in the right direction. Like if we don't keep Grant we actually have back up plans. And we seem to have competition for spots as we change the forwards and bench a lot which means they are all training hard even the ones who don't play.

Will be interesting if Benji and Walters do work out re how Brookes will be used. Harry should be on for 80 min's so I hope we dont end up a forward short. Its a bit puzzling. Maybe Madge has little confidence in those two and is looking to Brookes to fix things if need be hahaha

I hope Brooks and Walters are the answer to our halves issue mainly because Benji can't keep going on. If he can go another 5 years then I really hope they are the answer.

I don't think Madge is confident in any of our halves. They've all been dropped or not picked throughout the season. I think he wants to give Brooks some more chances.

Dogs have signed Cotric for three years on 600g a year. People are saying it is crazy money, but when you see what we are paying Grub and Packer to me it’s not excessive.

People always quote 950 for Mbye but I have never seen any evidence of that. I seem to recall the contract was 3 million over 4 years (so 750k per year) with the dogs chipping in some for the first 2 years
