I like it.....they'll only have eyes for Ponga 100%

I know it's only one small thing, but every little advantage counts against the Roosters. My gut feeling is that scoring the first try will be massive in this game. Our confidence would be sky high if we go ahead early, and I'd love to see one or two Browny trick shots in the first 15 minutes. Ponga is the most dangerous ball runner in the game right now, coming off a performance they will have studied very closely all week. If we sold it well enough, using that level of attention as a decoy could be brilliant. Anyway we'll see.

I have seen us use Ponga as a decoy. We have Glasby run in front of Ponga and Pearce gives Glasby the short ball.

Yeah, it has happened. I'm not suggesting we literally never try it. But it doesn't happen often, and the first few attacks this would be a fantastic time to test out how switched on their defence is. Glasby is also not the most dangerous ball runner unfortunately.

Doesn't have to be the short ball to the lead runner either. It could be sweeping straight past Ponga to the wide men.

The big test for me is if we don't score first and manage to keep it together and bounce back.

not unhappy about that at all. Dont expect it to stay that way throughout the match though

Damn... Wanted to see Ramien take on Lartrell for 80 minutes. I haven't see such a good defensive centre in the Knight jersey in such a long time. He is so strong in the tackle.

Is that no knock on call the first sign of what’s to come from the refs? Absolutely ridiculous decision. It went directly forward.
