Decent first graders I suppose but even then, not much to crow about. I just wasn't a big fan of them to be honest.

Everything just needs to be defensively focused. Training, recruitment/retention, coaching staff and general player mindset. I believe that between Ponga, Pearce, Levi, Ramien and Fitzgibbon we can find points if our defence is right. Get defensive specialists in at all costs and recruit noted defenders only. I'm so tired of us being frail defensively.

I'm tired of Sione, Ross, Sio, Cogger, Lamb, etc who just cannot tackle and do not understand defensive structure.

That was one of the most lackluster efforts that I have ever seen from a Knights team. The kick in the first half that we let bounce was a perfect demonstration of this. The players appear to want others to do things rather then themselves. The defense out wide was diabolical! Some players sliding out, others coming in, no straight line...

I was watching the game with a Bulldogs supporter and I told him that Cogger isn't going to help his team next year. The bloke can barely kick 30 metres and he always looks rushed when he has the ball.

The only players that appeared half decent were Watson, Ese'ese and Fitzgibbon. The rest need to pay some of their salary back to the club..

If Brown really wants to make a statement about our poor edge defense he should send both Sione and Ross back to NSW Cup this week.

Why didn't Watson kick in that first half.. It seems like the most dead obvious thing to do. He has a decent grubber on him by the looks of it... These sort of dumb decisions really hurt the side again and again...

What does Levi bring to the team btw? Thought he was supposed to be dynamic around the ruck. Haven't seen anything but bad decisions after bad decisions for weeks now.

I've been banging on about the defensive problems of the side since round 2 but many disagreed with me. The writing was on the wall back then and has got progressively worse. And we were winning then.

Defensive technique, structure and pattern is deplorable, admittedly exagerrated by individuals who are at very best reserve grade standard.

We need 6 to 8 recruits into the starting 17 to help us be somewhere near competitive.

And even then, I'm not sure if we would be top 8 material. Should be, but I'm not convinced.

The point is Brown letting it happen week after week after week after week but does nothing about it.
It’s about making a statement and as a coach Brown has failed miserably.
Ross would be probably be out injured next week but I bet Sione will still remain.

Levi usually looks good for about 5 minutes. Then the rot starts. Mirrors the rest of the squad tbh.
