I haven’t seen anyone praise Garner tonight.
He was monstering their middle in defence, with aggressive body tackling.
Good game buddy.
Agreed, at the start of the year I thought we really needed to upgrade from him but he has been improving every week and his defence has really improved.

I hate the fact we’ll lose him for a weak as piss crusher tackle next week
He’s really turned his game around from the debacle he displayed vs the Roosters

We’ll win.
The senior Penrith boys can’t handle pressure. The pressure on these wankers who can’t make the side will be huge.
The junior burger f**kheads will blow their load by the 30 minute mark and we’ll run them down in the second 40.
I agree with this bloke lol
f**k these Penrith merkins...a couple of injuries to their spine and it’s all over.

Luke Joey Brooks schooled the undefeated Panfers get that up ya 😍😍
Any sign of rhyno tonight?
The first 20 mins of the game Brooks was outstanding, he had a little lull in attack in the second 20 minutes (maybe the best 20 minutes he has ever played), but still kicked well and his defence was pretty solid. Second half was solid. I’d rate it 8/10. The covering tackle on Edwards after Brooks threw the intercept to Momorovski really showed character.

Jacob Liddle's runaway try was the highlight for me, considering all the serious injuries that guy has had, and doubts people had about his toughness, or how injury prone he might be.

Hard to single out a highlight for me when there were so many great moments through out the entire match, even right up to the very end with with Nofo's ankle tap on a run away Charlie Staines. Great performance by the lads and only letting in the one try when Mbye was broken is a great testament to their character.

Good game buddy.
People seem to point out 1 missed tackle from him and ignore the other good attacking and defensive plays he makes..
Garner is a friggin keeper Stryker and thanks for highlighting his efforts 👍

Over the years we have come across top 4 sides during origin time and have never been able to knock them off so tonight's win although against an under strengthened side was a great effort .

It was a great effort indeed...the sustained physicality was most impressive for me and something very new for us. ...we're actually starting to resemble the promise. A highlight was Stephano running over the top of Kikau for his try. The panther's media trumpeters blared on about how their outstanding fillins knew and train within "the system" and would seamlessly get it done tonight...they got hammered right across the park and those missing SOO players didnt play for us either.

Ignoring half their team being out for Origin - it was a cracking win.

3 - Liddle
2 - Brooks
1 - Garner

I think Twal also gets a special mention. He played almost 80 mins and didn't take a backward step. I'm really liking him back at prop. A real no nonsense workhorse. Was also great to see Roberts fired up over the mid-air tackle. Not often we see that from the Tigers so was good to see him sticking up for the young fella.

When you look at our last 6 games, we've only lost twice (Cowboys and Warriors) - both games we should have won and only lost because there were periods we just completely switched off. The Eels are realistically going to be the real test of where we are at. They are a very good team experiencing a bit of a form slump. If we can put that level of effort in for 80 mins we can beat them, then get to play Melbourne without their Origin players, then the Bunnies who for some reason the boys always kick it up a gear for.

It's the kind of momentum shift that could scrape us into the top 8. Do we dare to dream?

I thought Panthers still had a pretty good team on the park. They really missed the halves tonight especially Cleary.
yeah, I think they are similar to Manly, can't win it without young Ivan playing. I thought there forwards were soft as well, considering everyone was saying how they would dominate us with Harris being the best FR in the game?

Nice touch in the sheds at the end of the game, when Momo came in to shake hands with Madge, there was talk he was filthy with the club, didn't seem like it?

I thought it was appropriate the panthers wore PINK:)

We played against 17, so not sure where this Panthers missing 8 comes from:)

Fun fact: Our winning streak is now better than the Panthers:)
