Good to see the two tall wingers get a run, hopefully they utilise their assets?
Ruben Porter has been going well in cup footy, so hopefully he puts his hand up, plenty of opportunities for next season for all players, who are staying.
At the beginning of the season, I thought the drags were going to be the easy 2 points, but us being us, I should have known, it’s never easy.
Facing a long battle to avoid a 3 peat.
I will tip us, by 4 pts, but not confident at all:(

What's the go with Porter, TM? What position does he play, speed, defence etc?

Saints have man-handled us twice already this season. I can't see anything changing in this game

Porters a good sized athletic back rower. For some reason NSW Cup been p[laying him at prop but hes better on the edge. I believe hes 27 so been around for a while. My guess is he'll come on to play right edge and Seyfarth will move to the middle.

Not sure how Staines will go in the centers, but Naden could be a good choice as a utility, he has played in a lot of positions in cup.

Hopefully the weather will even up the game, otherwise it’s gonna be a long night. I hate to say it but that side is likely to leak a point a minute against the better sides, and St George at their best could do some real damage.

I've watched a couple of his games and he reminds me of Joffa. Can score tries on an edge and is a solid footballer from the Cook Islands. We snapped him up after he had a solid season with the Bears. He's played around 100 games in lower grades so not a novice.
He should have a good game..

Noticed with interest in a training pic it looked like Bula at right centre. Maybe a switch with Staines? Benji did say he’s looking to rejigg our attack.
Wow, now that's food for thought Vic.
Staines has played fullback before and has the speed to get into the right spots. A small bloke like Charlie is better defending laterally than head on.
Recently Bula hasn't been there for that last ditched effort to stop a winger from scoring in the corner....like he did in the early rds when he was getting all the plaudits for doing so.
I put that down to him being committed in the centre of the field when we were leaking in D there.
