Jesus mate. What does the next coach - after AOB - do with this squad tomorrow if AOB gets the sack?

It’s not a hard question to answer - except if you don’t have any answers.
Look at how the Dogs are playing now versus a month ago. You're right, it's not a hard question to answer when you ask it in a straightforward manner.

I said what does a new coach do with this squad right now.
Nothing. Same thing AOB is doing. The season is a write-off and will get the spoon regardless of the coach.

The way he's going he's only going to get sacked this time next season anyway.

No, I’m realistic enough to see our spine is a few players short due to circumstances out of his control, and the rest of the team lacks direction as a result.
nonesensical, the lack of EFFORT on the players part has nothing to do with who else is out there. It is the choice of the individual.

We really f**ked ourselves over repeatedly in that game. That last 10 minutes was a slow-motion car crash to watch. There were about 5 sliding door moments that would have iced the game, and we just slipped on all of them.
Very true, but sadly it's par for the course. We do so many little things wrong over the course of 80 minutes, and particularly at the worst possible times. Even before the Dom Young no-try was one of those moments because we should have scored somewhere else on the field where the gaps were clearly everywhere and we had them on the rack.

Nonessential? You are saying the spine of Ponga-Milford-Clifford/Clune-Randall is a top 8 team?

I don’t care how much effort we put in - that spine doesn’t keep up with the top 8 at a minimum - and our place on the ladder suggests I’m right.

We so badly miss Brailey it’s not funny. His leadership and organising - he is literally the only player we have that can do either.

A second director of Wests has publicly said AOB isn’t getting paid out. Get ready for him to hang around.

I'm fully prepared for them to do nothing about it and for the debates to continue to rage.

9 losses from our last 11 games. Standards are clearly low.

the players are not responding to AOB and havent for 3 years. Someone posted the KPI of the team over the last 2 1/2 years and it aint pretty

EFFORT is a non skilled requirement.

It takes intestinal fortitude to put your head where it shouldnt be and the mental strength to push through the pain barrier. The will to win and not fail yourself, your mates, your club and the people you represent - PRIDE

Without the above the rest is a waste of time.
Cool. We have the Anthony Robbins of the forum here.

Effort gets you so far - which I agree has been lacking. But there is no replacing talent and leadership, which we don’t have.

No, I asked what a new coach can do, and your answer was not letting the old coach regress.

Thats what you said. You can’t throw your arms up saying I don’t get it.
Have a look what a new coach, even a traffic cone like Potter, is doing at the Bulldogs

Your arguments are fairly invalid bro

It's not the losing its how we lose.

A team of average men at 100% effort will go a looooong way to defeat a team of champions at 90% every time.

That little space ( in your case very tiny ) between the ears is where a man finds success or defeat.

And yes I do have experience in this area ........
