It's easy to say play with heart and passion but I truly believe the players don't know their roles out there and where they should be etc.

If you're confused out there then it makes it a whole lot harder to put that effort in.

So yeah I basically agree with you. If they all had a simple plan and focus and knew their individual roles it would be so much simpler to rip in and give ourselves a much better opportunity.
they are so lacking in confidence that individually they look physically uncoordinated.

O’Brien: “Keep it simple, don’t try to be too fancy.”

Yep, sounds plausible.
2 questions.

1. Was that the half time speech?

2. Was that us being fancy in the first half?

Raiders have decided to play down to our level in this second half. Should make things exciting for the fact we'll be in it (on the scoreboard) until the 70th minute.

1. Think that is his only speech.

2. 😂

Nice offload by Elliott. will be useless here in when there won't be support within 10m of him.

I couldn't disagree more. You're essentially describing the job of a head coach and then saying he's not responsible. Motivation, leadership, energy, enthusiasm, effort, organisation: these are precisely the things the coach should take ownership of, and if he can't influence these things positively, he's not an NRL coach.
What coach have we had since Mal Reilly has been able to coach above the culture of the club?

The squad has been short all year two halves and a hooker. How does he coach our halfback and captain leaving in January? How does he coach our hooker getting a 9 month injury?

If you can’t see our depth is woefully shallow, it’s going to take some time to fix that and ditching the coach now isn’t going to fix that.

It’s the same old bullshit with this forum. Sack Pearce last year - where has that got us? Sack AOB now - where will that get us?
