Ran into Gardner today boys. He said we're going to beat the Dolphins because we generally play one bad game then one good game. Told me to have faith. This is not a joke if you were waiting for the punchline. Maybe the punchline was the one good game one bad game part. Should have asked him which ones are which.

The risk with this weeks team (among many risks) is the four forwards on the bench, meaning one of Crossland or Brailey plays 80 mins - thats when they got ragged last week was when those two were fatigued.
Also Best coming back from a hammy with no backs cover means the Lucas switch would happen in the event of an injury - moving our best player.
With Ponga backing up, Young playing his first game, Best returning from injury, Marzhew carrying an arm knock - I'd be thinking a late bench switch (Hastings?) is on the cards.
Hastings dropped into dummy half a lot last game. I expect others will too next game. Crossland and Brailey will likely share it.

Isn't it game day? Feels like nobody looks forward to our games these days.
Why would you haha.
I guess you hope the young guys go ok
But this game has big losing 26 - 6 or 10 vibes to me. Go team!

This is the view from my house, looking over towards where HBF Park is (20mins drive away). It was taken a few minutes ago before the rain started again.

It's been very wet over here of late, and had some heavy rain the last few days. Including this morning. Forecast days it should be easing / clearing by the afternoon, so it's got 3½hrs to do so.
