Even without the kickbacks it opens the door to the possibility that Cleary was looking at leaving near the start of his tenure..surely he wouldn’t stake his chances of success after such a long time moping around at home unemployed by just recruiting his managers client list and ignoring real stars that could be available with a war chest to spend..even he would have known the risk he was setting the WT up for but didn’t care?? One would hope not.
But that is deadly info..
Bottom line tho Everything leads back to weak kneed Pascoe
1 He would have had a strong influence over Go in hiring his “best friend”..so he can only blame himself instead of crying in front of the media now. No other club would have hired Cleary then
2 The backing of Taylor regardless including the Farrah fiasco and just letting him hang around to wreak havoc on the club
