Agreed TT -

They always say the same thing to - "my role now is simpler."
I dont want to provide excuses for coaches of days gone by, but I think our team has been so fundamentally f**ked for so long that we have had to over complicate it just to be competitive.

Your a prop - tackle your arse off and run straight.

I mean, honestly, by the time these guys get into grade they have already been playing the game for 10+ years. My brother and I argue about what a coach does - I reckon he sets defensive structures and gets them motivated for the games. The skills are already largely there.

Haven't our coaches been abject failures @ instilling those significant functions of there job description ie defence & motivation. Its inexcusable that talented players like Siro & Blair contributed f**k all to the WT teams they played in.The buck stops with the imbecile coaches.

We were pretty unlucky in having the worst NRL coach of the modern era in Jason Taylor. Every single player on the roster bar none went backwards having him as a coach. Nobody improved at all. He sent the club back 5 years.

He made no good recruitment decisions. He released some supreme talents (Thompson, Taupau, Austin, Farah et al) and rubbed all players the wrong way. I saw one of our then current players at the Workers Pub in Balmain (notorious WT player stomping ground) in the off season of 2015 and they had some choice words about JT. Thank god we are now rid of this toxic merkin and are on a much better path.

It's unbelievable how good Tedesco was under adversity re: Taylor

Imagine how good he'll actually be under Robinson & a competitive team

I can't think of a worst period in the history of our club and that includes when we had one T Lamb here. He just screwed the place over.

I think getting rid of Farah takes the cake though. The guy wanted to play here. He was the best option that we had. We replaced him with a guy who hasn't played and overpaid guys that have left us and not performed.

It is like the worst possible management of a team that could occur.

Sooo...Tedesco 50/50 to play on Sunday. Knew it

Guarantee he won't play

Said in a presser "ran on it yesterday...still didn't feel 100%"

Just f**k these guys off already.

Not to mention the guy was a club legend. Just insane.

You know, if next years fullback is currently at the team, play him
.Be careful there Shredder, because IC said,

"Kev [Naiqama] has had a few weeks at fullback now and has learned a bit each time. He's certainly familiar with the ground at Newcastle and is looking forward to playing well.

Geez I hope this flee plays @ Leichhardt in Round 26 coz I don't imagine he will receive the send-off that agrees with his delicate sensibilities !

Let's not kid ourselves, he'll be injured by then anyway

If he does I reckon the entire crowd should pretend they have an injury and support glass Tedesco being in a sling or on crutches

Disrespect our club why not disrespect him? he couldn't have been that badly injured if he played on in the 2nd half in origin.

I half expect him to never play another game for us. The only thing that might force him too is that he'll want to play in the World Cup at the end of the year. There's 8 games after origin so he'll probably come back for the final 2 or 3
