I’d love to see if Lee has the balls to take it legal, he probably won’t but it would be a good to have a go at the merkins😂

I 100% reckon Lee would, imagine if he did it and won, the publicity for his company would be through the roof

I also believe this is why the NRL arent admitting it was a fault to allow the captains challenge. Im not pretneding to be some sort of legal expert, however by admitting Klien got it wrong thats simply an interpretation. If they admit there shouldnt have been a Challenge thats them not following protocol.

All any blind man would need to do is watch it in real time...KF lined him up and flat out ran into the back of him....Feldt was the one who had no eyes for the ball whatsoever...Kepeoa did NOTHING wrong!... Feldt lined him up from 10 metres away and his only intention was to run into Kepeoa for the dive ! Slo mo distorts the truth...again...for anyone in doubt watch it in real speed. Italian soccer has nothing on this!

Funny how Ashley Klown didn’t see the Tom Dearden Eye Gouge incident from his Ivory Tower but he saw the non escort.

What’s everyone view on the Eye Gouge incident?
Intentional. Curled the little finger and ripped at his eye.
Takes me back to the year 11 wrestling matches in the classroom.

Well I am pretending to be some sort of legal expert and I say that you're absolutely right...I stake my imaginary reputation on it !

Doesn’t help much? Though I wonder if it would of happened in a top 8 clash?

NRL football boss Graham Annesley admits Tigers were robbed

Can we take ‘em to court on this admission?

Don't think you'll get any joy in court on the basis of the blown call alone. Only hope would be to show that the game was over (i.e. full time had be called) before the bunker was called upon. But I think it's pretty clear that it wasn't.

You never know in court...a judge would have no consideration of what is and isn't good for the NRL's image....just a judgement on compensation if sought and proven...also...would it suit the NRL to spar with one of its sponsors.. Brydens Lawyers in court??

Yep, sue the NRL for $100m, the Cows for $50m (for plotting the dastardly deed) and $5m for 5 or 6 players who were allegedly involved, do it while the finals series is on and when the Cows get beaten out of the finals, simply drop the law suite 🤣🤣🤣

No point having a law firm as major sponsor and not utilise there skills?

And you don’t think the spoon is something to be avoided ??
Of course I do but I think it’s a done deal, I hope we can manage a couple of wins before the end of the season trouble is there’s just no consistency in our game atm. Put on a good show one week and the next six we’re very ordinary, have a habit of playing to other teams standard and not our own when we meet other lowly placed teams.

To get a result overturned you'll need to show that the game was over and Wests were in front. You might get some other relief but they won't change the result because of blown call.....you could then ask to look at every call in the game. The only successful case I know of was an AFL game where the play continued after the siren because the umpire didn't hear it, an a goal was kicked to put a team into the lead.

I was more thinking about a settlement and avoiding a court case which would rip a giant scab off the NRL's control of the game...especially if "expert" opinions were called...wouldn't Gus love to strut around in THAT spotlight !

100% correct.

They can't admit their processes weren't followed. If they admit this they know they have to reverse the decision and change the result.

They can state the ref's made a mistake.

They've f**ked up in my opinion because when you start lying or twisting the truth you get caught out.
