Benji is about to find out what winning or losing as a coach is all about.
Now he’s playing for sheep stations hahahaha

Prob the best team we’ve fielded for a decade. This Galvin boy is at another level. .Watching his limited time playing Id say he completely ignored the dire position we were in against sgi. He thinks fast, see’s things others don’t and he executes with no fear like it’s backyard footy..It will be about the intensity against Canberra. Have we got it…Can we turn it on..I wouldn’t bet on a loss..And yes good on Benji. So far so good.

Yes, much better than the gibbering fools at Foxtel predicted.

Predicted Tigers team: 1. Jahream Bula 2. Brent Naden 3. Justin Olam 4. Starford To’a 5. Junior Tupou 6. Lachlan Galvin 7. Jayden Sullivan 8. David Klemmer 9. Api Koroisau 10. Stefano Utoikamanu 11. John Bateman 12. Isaiah Papali’i 13. Alex Seyfarth 14. Jake Simpkin 15. Asu Kepaoa 16. Fonua Pole 17. Alex Twal

Team Tips: The Tigers enjoyed the bye in Round 1 after their last pre-season clash was a loss against the Dragons. Now they could be set for a big shake-up with veteran halfback Aidan Sezer reportedly sidelined. According to Danny Weidler, young gun Lachlan Galvin is set to make his debut in the No.6, likely partnering Jayden Sullivan in the halves. In pre-season Alex Seyfarth was very solid in the middle and could edge out Fonua Pole for the lock role. The utility spot is another heated battle, with Jake Simpkin potentially wearing the No.14. However, Tallyn Da Silva is another option with Galvin could also fill the role is Sezer is fir to take the field. Benji Marshall’s forward pack picks itself outside of the lock role, while Charlie Staines and Brent Naden are also set to fight for a wing spot.

Lachlan Galvin will be named in the #6, Bud Sullivan the #7 and Aidan Sezer, who has been dealing with a hamstring niggle, will be named in jersey #14. Justin Olam (knee) will be given another week to overcome the knock suffered against the Dragons (Telegraph)

No doubt the only reason Sezer isn’t in starting team is he’s injured & although he’s not 100% he’s on the bench as insurance for 2 rookies

what's up with Latu Fainu. Hasn't been named in any grade, is he injured or still carrying a suspension?
I just posted this.
Brent Naden and Solo Saukuru still returning from offseason surgery.

Josh Feledy injured his shoulder against the Warriors.

Justin Olam given an extra week after a knock to his knee against the Dragons.

Latu Fainu returning from hamstring issue.

Big disappointment that Olam isn't fit and firing but on the other hand I'm rapt that Solomona Faataape is playing. He trialled well and might be able to keep Canberra's backs quiet.

Our starting backline this wk is the most inexperienced in the NRL.2 backs r making their debut & the combined nrl games played by the entire backline wouldn’t be much more than 100.

Well, I nearly got you the gig, I was speaking to Benji and mentioned your name, but he said he couldn’t because you hadn’t done the pre-season, bummer hahaha

Re our new halves combination, I’m sure we will all have an opinion come 5.00pm this Saturday.

Probably, Benji as well. hahaha

If he doesn’t already know, he’ll live or die with his selections.

Club often use niggling injuries to cover for poor form or selection failure.
I bet you a lot of players on the injury list would play if we were in a grand final this Sunday.
