We just want him and his family to enjoy the day at the 8th wonder, while there team gets reamed, that’s all 😂
Sounds like an empty threat. I feel sorry for Newcastle after them losing Ponga with 12min to go, for a ridiculous HIA after showing no symptoms of concussion (what happened to needing to show symptoms before an HIA is called) but I feel more sorry for us at the moment..

The only reason they have this independent doctor fking the games up is so that vlandees has a weapon to save his arse in court when the players want compensation. All those players wanting compensation would show symptoms of concussion when hit so why give every player 15 that gets slapped and tickled

Nah, Ponga got what he deserved.

If you watch the replay Ponga collects the hip going for that ball and rolls away holding his head, stays motionless face down for a little. Then gets up.

It certainly hurt us, but I can't argue with the call too much. Just get up and play on Ponga!

Lol, when one of us wants some advice, we are all f**king too busy to get involved.

But when an “enemy” fan asks a question, everyone here drops everything to help out!

Nothing wrong with hospitality. Part of the fun of being at the game is the atmosphere.

No need for us to turn in to English soccer fans!

And I feel WT fans are like cousins to us Knights fans with the shared miserable experience of supporting our teams. :p

The Wests Tigers have confirmed they’ll hand Brandon Tumeth his NRL debut against the Knights at Leichhardt Oval on Sunday.

The 19-year-old backrower replaces Shawn Blore on the bench after he failed to overcome concussion protocols.

Tumeth is the first Balmain junior to make his NRL debut with Tigers in three years and will line up alongside fellow local juniors Alex Seyfarth, Luke Brooks and Adam Doueihi on Sunday.

“This is where it all started for me, playing all my junior footy at Leichhardt,” Tumeth said.

Go strong youngster.
I’ve not seen him play, I hope he kills it.

Yea he will get up and play next time but he didn’t show any symptoms of concussion.. Staying there for a little bit doesn’t mean anything …touching his head neither..This is a qualified doctor right? And he passed it didn’t he..

That was a late call too after he’d stood up and showed he was fine…you can tell concussion when they stand up relatively quickly and they are fine, which he was..(check the expression on their face too and obviously having the wobbles ..That’s a give away)

Yeah I was just pointing to the irony that our wt forum go for each other’s throats half the time but are generally friendly to well intended “foreigners”.

I like AOB views on the game, i know that’s not a popular view on knights forum, I just think he hasn’t had the cattle to compete.

He won’t last the season, or I would be surprised.

He will be sacrificed like Madge.

Our current coaching folk could lose every game and will never be sacked, because the unsackable rabble who manage our club has bet the house on them. It’s too cosy.

The car is always better than public transport I think. Maccas coffee double shot should assist getting home. Air conditioning on full with the windows down, not vey green, but beautiful ambient temperature. Recreate an sunny sub-Alpine walk in beautiful New Zealand at Ourimbah or Drummoyne.

Knights forum isn't any difference, I guess it comes down to passionate views clashing, but an opposition fan is a noncom :)

AOB is on his last legs, he hasn't had the cattle to win the GF but should be doing better than he is. I was a big supporter of his but he has lost me.

Madge, once the media starts feeding on you it's very difficult to keep your job.

Current coach is only temporary until Benji takes over and then he will get a free period before the media starts to expect results.

Disagreement on this site are like hens teeth and appear to be avoided at all costs, most of the time apart from the few courageous few who have a point of view, and of course there’s sitting on the fence....…..We treat visitors how they deserve to be treated.. More deserve to be ignored than not..

I doubt Benji is going to get the results because he simply doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Also, he’s not a very good communicator.

Everyone knows he got the job on the matey basis and not merit. He was appointed and not part of a proper process, despite 18 applicants.

I think the general consensus here is that we want him to help and support the club in other ways, but he hasn’t earned the right to drive the trabant.

I want a real coach.

You might want to check the tyres in the am, the oil dipstick and the window washer thing.

If you get lost, you can pm one of us or something.

Our mod @macnaz will be there at the game. He will be the guy passed out on the stretcher after 20 minutes.

Or making a forum arrest.

I remember that.

I know you wrote to Head Office, did you get a response?

If that how they treated you ( and your golden Willy wonka throned membership deal) I wonder where our intrepid @Knight76 will end up?

Your old seats I imagine. Wipe the cobwebs off.

Its been a while, but when I lived in Sydney I used park around the bay in Haberfield in one of the side streets next to what is the city west link. Just a short stroll across the bridge past what was the Aria (now Montage) and up a little hill. Gets you out of the traffic near the ground.

I missed a turn the other day in a tunnel thing and ended up on the way to the airport looking for exits.

As usual the merkins have designed it so if you might as your exit you’re a full toll sucker.

And of course, after the wonderful trip you’re in a massive traffic jam, all but defeating the short cut tollway anyway.

I hope @Knight76 has left by now.

I like Tumeth, just not sure he’s ready for NRL. Still only 19 and would have only played 7/8 nsw cup games. 183cm and 97kgs is small for a modern day outside back, let alone a back rower. In saying that he’s always been small and still made every junior rep team (NSW, Aus) throughout the grades.

Although small he’s extremely tough and has a great tackling technique. In the U20s origin last year QLD targeted him all game and I don’t think he missed a single tackle. His strength is his line running close to the try line, scored 2 tries in cup last week doing just that.

I’ll be surprised if he plays more than 20mins but that’s hopefully all we’ll need from him. Good luck to the kid!

He’s meant to be a junior Cameron McInnes.

Congratulations to him and everyone who has supported him.

He will be fine.
