Seriously, what do we look like next week?

1. Miller
2. Hunt / Marzhew
3. Best
4. Gagai
5. Young
6. Gamble
7. Hastings
8. D Saifiti
9. Crossland
10. Thompson
11. Johns
12. Fitzgibbon
13. Croker back?
--
14. Sasagi or Clune
15. Hetherington
16. Lucas or Talty or Keeley?
17. Jones

Really scraping the barrel already...

Johns out too.
Simi is injured too.
Probably Clune and Keely on the bench.

Wow. That game was an absolute shit show but we banked the 2 points somehow.

Haven’t seen that much fight in a Knights side in a long time. Literally everything went against us. Injuries, a sin bin, a send off, even a try in the final minutes where the bunker decided to ignore the rules of rugby league lol.

But hey! Gotta be proud of the boys for their efforts. It wasn’t pretty but it was never going to be without KP and Brailey for most of the game.

Shoutout to Crossland who probably had his best NRL game, Leo who was a monster, DSaf who stood up big time, also Fitz who ran some great holes and was unlucky not to get a second try and was hitting hard in D as well.

I also thought Miller was pretty good aside from that kick off. Super involved and made some really awkward runs that got the defenders second guessing. I really want to see this guy make a break up the middle and into open space sometime soon.

Also Gamble and Hastings really stood up for us. It wasn’t pretty but they both competed really hard which is I suppose was the selling point for both of them when we signed them. It’s felt for a long time like we were a team of nice guys who would get pushed around a bit too much so it’s nice to have a few guys who will give it back a bit.

Well… next weeks team list is going to be an ugly one but let’s bask in the glory of 2 competition points for the next 5 days at least.

Hoping Hetherington starts showing... Something. His 30 metres a game aren't really cutting it for a guy billed as athletic.
Wasn’t he out for a fair bit of last year injured? It’s his second game with us and he’s young for a front rower. Give him time - at least he isn’t getting himself suspended and sent off!

Today was his 45th game of first grade, but yeah, his last match was March 27th last year. So a fair bit of time between games and some slack should be given. He was playing 80 in the back row at that stage which is the kind of player I hope he can become here. He's not particularly exciting as a front row prospect.

Think 13 that finished will play against the Dolphins with possibly Johns if fit, need a backup hooker along with Croker and Talty.
We will be without Ponga, Brailey, Frizell, JSaf
