I’ve heard him on a few podcasts and he’s a footy head, lives and breaths rugby league which I don’t think is the case for a lot of our squad who literally have zero football IQ

Awful game but a really resilient win I didn't think we were capable of.

I just watched the game relatively quickly and these are my takeaways.

Today it was the least likely who performed and got us over the line.

1. Well done to AOB (and equally all assistants) in getting the team up mentally for this one
2. Leo Thompson and Phoenix were huge for us.
3. I like Gamble and I loved the trash talk - we need a bit of that in the team,.
4. Insanely ugly game
5. Ponga, Frizell and J Saf will be spending some time on the sidelines I think.
6. Ponga is getting to the point where he needs to consider what to do with his career. I don't think a 2 month break does him any good now because we've just come off an off-season. If that time didn't do him well I don't think and further break will

Overall sure it's nice to win but I don't feel inspired by what we did, especially considering the opposition's efforts today.

Gagai don't miss any tackles which is a positive but bugger me he could have looked to pass a few times. He literally had Young outside him unmarked quite a few times but decided to run it himself
