Brown has a lot to answer for. You can say it's the players' fault, but it's the coach's responsibility to ensure the team he sends out for the second half is switched on and not complacent based on the first half. That was bad old days level. It was shameful. 40 minutes of the worst rugby league you could imagine.

From Levi's tap and go before half time it felt possible, and from the 45th minute it felt probable.

I have to say, it is games like this where I lose all my faith in Brown. I want to like him, I want him to succeed. He says all the right things in the press, he recruits as well as can be expected.

But then I watch that and I think, 'Is he up to it?' All the warning signs were there from Levi's tap I thought, and he clearly didn't address them in the sheds. It looked lazy on the field, but also it feels lazy from the coach. If it was my team I'd genuinely feel like I had failed in my job as a coach after watching that.

No amount of big angry forwards could've saved us in that second half. We just played the worst half of footy possible. We had a good line up tonight.

Didn't seem like it in the first half. They just got cocky, switched off and then completely shat the bed. The Cowboys actually played half decent once we gave them a proper sniff, and that's always been a massive problem with our team. We ALWAYS give them a sniff. Always.

Disregarding how the tries were scored re: forward passes, etc... Pearce really should have got us home there tonight. We should have won by 20 or 30 - it shouldn't have been close enough for any given decision to make a difference.

Our boys got cocky sure...but come on mate, ...the Cowboys couldn't even hold the ball. They were even knocking it on while trying to kick. Any time the Cowboys looked good was a direct result if how bad we were. There is absolutely no sugar coating this one, that was the worst possible performance by any team this year. No ifs or buts, that loss is on the coach.

Felt we needed some direction from the forwards and they just went Plod. He should have been directing them and yelling at Levi for the 15 short passes to Aido on the line.

What little hope I had that we would finish off the season strongly is gone now. Not saying make the 8, just finish the season strongly.

If we can't go on and beat a lacklustre Cowboys team with a healthy lead at H/T then I have no confidence we can measure up against better teams like the Tigers, Warriors, Panthers, Sharks and Dragons (yep that's the order of teams we're facing).

I hope the Tigers can go on and make the finals because I'll be jumping on their bandwagon after the regular season finishes. They understand what consistency means, thanks to having an excellent coach in Ivan Cleary.

Levi needs a proper kick up the arse. What an absolute toss.

Yeah of course, they may not want him gone. They sure played like they do though.

Either they didn't listen to Brown or they flat out ignored him.
