. That stutter by Mo just before he scored that try was actually a planned step / delay that he knew he had to do to create the space for himself to get to the line ..which was a presence of mind thing I didn’t know he had.. ..you can see the defender get sucked in by that delay - that was sweet..plus he was good under the high ball under pressure ..so since Madge isn’t going to budge on Talau I’m happy to persist with Mo for now..hes prob just working through the nerves after being taken seriously by the coach for the first time..Also having watched the game again 1- Brooks did have a blinder including the adjusted angle/ delayed pass while being tackled - to Mbye just before Mo’s try just mentioned..That was a sweet pass by Brooks ...although my view on keeping the ball away from him in the last 4-6 minutes of the game still stands.. 2- On Brookes one mistake He may have had a hard time stepping Watson since there was a forward bearing down on him as well..an early step to the right was an option not sure how successful it would have been but a better option with a pass on the end of it than a kick and hope coz he misread ...Also Hess isn’t a centre and has missed tackles because of that..so from your posts - as he may be up against twinkle toes Masters ..Masters could be made to look good today ..us by 10I wasn't too impressed with Mikhail Gorbachev's nephew Paulos Momirovski in the last game.
He made a few poor handling errors, but what concerned me most was his finishing ability. When he got that glorious ball from the Gambian Goddess Moses Mbye, he stuttered on his run and almost bombed a certain try. He looks generally slow and tentative and at the moment we need to score off every half chance so we need a good winger..
