The fox commentary are calling that disallowed try a try, but I called it straight away not only was Mbye held up Brooks was in a position to cover the next man and allow Mbye to release. It was a definite obstruction as far as I’m concerned.

Thought the same live, but the reply showed brooks sold it big time. But we have coped so many dud calls in the past I reckon that is just one in the positive column.

I said about six weeks ago I saw a few things in our attack that were just slightly off, things are starting to come together now. Play the ball speed has been excellent. We’re still missing too many tackles, but scramble has been good

Cowboys were horrible but we were very gutsy. I’d say it was a 70 minute performance with just a pretty ordinary 1st 10 after halftime.

Thought Aloiais first stint was huge. He took it too the cows international middle 3 and was the best forward on the field. Liking Matterson at 13 but think he needs to get a pass into his game there. Twal and Mikaele beasts off the bench. Even Mbye and Momirovski were great.

Great boost to the F/A at the end.

We’ve had some false dawns before but feel Madge won’t let them get ahead of themselves. If we win next week, and particularly if we can put on another decent score, I’ll really start to believe

Thought Mbye was good but there was a point we’re Mbye and Benji was basically fighting at dummy half which I found interesting.

Saw that too, Mbye blew up at Benji, like really went off. Wonder what happened.

Manly & Roosters would’ve spotted our suspect left side defence and smashed us, Cowboys saw it but their execution was pretty ordinary.

In saying that the boys look like they are improving significantly. We get a bit more communication happening on that left side things will improve. You could actually hear the right side defence Screaming directions to each other a couple of times in the coverage tonight when they were defending our line which is a great sign.

We now have a 9 day turnaround for the Dogs followed by a 5 day turn around for Eagles. That 5 day turnaround ain’t gonna do us no favours Eagles will be coming off 7 days off to play us, next two weeks are huge

Something stinks at the cowgirls. They have the best pack in the comp, and a not too shabby backline. Maybe they should have kept the great man todd payton instead of letting him leave in 2017!
