How many minutes did Dan play today? Didn't look like much... Seems to be playing 30 minutes a game or something these days...

Think he did short of 25 at the start, then came back on with 10 to go.

Round figures, he got 15+15 halftime+30 = 60 minutes (plus stoppages) sitting on his can. Barring injury, another example of Brown’s interchange genius. And Klemmer only got a five minute spell midway through the first. Not sure if he was on at the death, but huge game.

Yeah don't understand that. He looked good as well.

If your starting prop, SOO, isn’t playing at least 40-50 mins then play him off the bench, it’s not good enough.
All our fwds are a bit one dimension no real off loads
Kicking was terrible with too many high balls to in goal, better to grubber kick and better to be short of line than dead, make them work it out.
Watson tries hard but hasn’t got the finesse required, Levi is more creative, hopefully Brailey will be.
Need more depth in attack especially when inside attacking 20.
Can still make 8 but tough ask, no wholesale changes, find a winger, possibly play Guerra 13, Glasby to prop, Levi back in, bench Watson, Sione, DanS and JSaf meaning Gavet and Mann out
If loose next week then start planning 2020 by trying some young guys to gain experience, possibly Crossland and Hoy, maybe Ponga to 5/8.

Realistically, even if we make the 8, we're just making up the numbers. The top 8 has three clear tiers.
Tier 1. Storm, Rorters, Souffs
Tier 2: Canberra, Manly (wtf?)
Tier 3: inconsistent cannon fodder who don't deserve to be there.

I rate Canberra over Souffs. Probably Manly too. Both could go all the way.

Honestly I picked Knights to make the 8 at the start of the year. There’s still a chance you could make it with the run home you have. I think we’re done after our piss poor loss to the Dogs. I now accept that the Panthers are a very ordinary team that had a fortunate streak around Origin time.

Our seasons are a little similar with a big losing streak, then winning streak and maybe big losing streak again. If we miss the 8 I’d much rather you make it then the Pony scum or The Peptides. Hopefully Pearce and Ponga can spark your team again.

So I was at the game today, bumped into Toovey at the league's club afterwards. Out of curiosity I asked if he would have any interest in the knights job if it came available. He said "No. Absolutely none."

Is everyone seeing footage of the dressing shed just now? They look entirely defeated and dejected.

They look broken. They look like they have no idea what to do, no talk in the sheds. That looked like football depression.

I think that sums up supporting this team. Football depression!

Funny how we complain when they lose and talk and laugh with the opposition and again complain about dropped heads after a loss, what do you want, singing and beer drinking in the sheds after a shattering loss.
They will pick themselves up later, sort it out at training and pick themselves up for next week, right now they think season might be over.
I am surprised at the attitude of some on here, win or lose you support, don’t always like but you support and like the players you move on and hope for better results next game.
