Yes, Gagai in the same boat. Having 1 Cooper Cronk or Cameron Smith is probably worth 10 Daniel Saifitis or Dane Gagais. If you want to cut a teams value up by a simplistic "who has the most origin players" heuristic then you're free to it, but it doesn't really cut much weight to anyone wanting to discuss the issue with any nuance, in my opinion.

NRL coaches just don't want Origin players these days - especially 5 of them.

Poor Cooper Cronk only has 5 playing along side him. But he'd swap them for anyone else and keep playing.

Cam Smith only 6. But guess what? He's hoping Bellamy moves them on soon.

When you throw around the statement "5 origin players", you're lumping them into a single, one-dimensional category to support your argument. It's intellectually dishonest at best, and you surely must know it.

The worst part is you're deflating your own argument. There's a lot to like and a growing list of things to dislike about Browns tenure here. It's unsurprising to me that it's a divisive topic, it'd be really interesting to have an actual conversation about it I bet. I was impressed with their whole game last night. Completely dominant.

They look fit, well organised and the coach is getting the best out of what he has.

Played like they wanted the win in front of their home crowd.

Their spine has been comprehensively outplaying ours which is the saddest part. Besides fullback the rest of their spine is contributing a lot more to their wins.

both Hooker and Half Back have been repeatedly caught with the ball on the 5th, often in an attacking situation. Pearce made 1 grubber last game for a repeat set.

The team revolves around Pearce......no Pearce = no Knights.

Not so keen on an over reliance on 1 playmaker unless it's A Johns.
