Tigers team: 1. Charlie Staines 2. David Nofoaluma 3. Brent Naden 4. Starford To’a 5. Junior Tupou 6. Adam Doueihi 7. Luke Brooks 8. Stefano Utoikamanu 9. Apisai Koroisau 10. David Klemmer 11. Players cut:

Late mail:Adam Doueihi reportedly sat out of training on Wednesday with foot bruising according to AAP’s Scott Bailey. Tigers medical staff said they were keeping him off his feet as a precaution. According to the NRL Physio, players can usually recover from a bruised foot quickly, granted there is no significant damage with load management the best way to prevent further injury. Meanwhile English recruit John Bateman also reportedly sat next to him and observed training after being named in the extended squad for the first time ahead of Round 3. But the Bulldogs’ general manger of football, Phil Gould believes Bateman will be parachuted into the 17 come Sunday. “Why would you name him if you weren’t going to play him? I fully expect that he will play this weekend,” he said on Six Tackles with Gus. “I can only assume because they’ve named him, he will play, and if he plays he will be ready. He’s an international-class forward so they would love to be playing him.”

You did before he signed with Canterbury.
I always said he was overrated.

All I can say is that at least I stayed true to the “club in crisis” model whilst i saw you weakening under the spin.

To save face, I suggest you pull down your trousers and mount Brooksy like the rest of us.

And life without Tuki or Bateman hasn’t been as grand as you had hoped.

The only question is at what minute Brooksy will be dropped for Wakeham:

I’m still going with my fake injury plan at half time because it’s the best for everyone to save face.

Then all we need from Wakeham is factory and the odd run at the line.

It was saddening to hear our fans here willing the knights on to victory. It’s not in me to go that far but, I can understand it and can’t condemn it.

People will remember my old friend Ralph who sneaked into the sgi members and got some shots of the cini rampage that year.

He’s absolutely furious with the last two performances. He says he’s never seen us play so badly. I have. He’s saying nine losses from the last 11 games is garbage. His anger is shocking.

Hes worried about my kids, but I told him they support other clubs. Which they do. Of note, at least they are different ones. Dad is the lone Tiger. The last one in the line I think. A blessing for the little ones.

But Wakehams selection, out of the blue, it’s a sign. Some kind of heavenly apparition that the cults days are numbered.

That accountability is creeping in.

One small mercy in our world of living hell.

The team is starting to look better, Pole & Blore back is great. Laurie out is a god send. Bateman really needs to play, even if we only get 25-30 mins out of him.

Fingers crossed we have no more injuries then next week Papalli, Bateman, Maulmalo and J Simkpin will all be available.

I dont know why but I have a feeling we may surprise here.

I agree ... we may only lose by 12 rather than 30

I don't dislike Brooks, as a person he is probably a nice enough young man, but his football ability to lead a team about is virtually zero, which installs little faith for our future looking up while he is the 7, hopefully for the WT sake ,he proves me wrong, if he is persisted with.

I just want the lads to push up in attack not stand back like scared little boys afraid of the girls at the school dance.
