Just confirmed on the Knights FB page that Ponga is out and Hoy to replace him.

I usually try to defend Ponga but seriously FMD…

And I had another same-game multi on with Ponga as anytime try scorer. Does that mean it goes to Tex instead?

Ugh, of course. All this talk about how well he’s trained all summer and now doesn’t even get on the park.

Need to relax. It is only round 3. Still annoying though.

I think we can win this game without Ponga, and that would be a much bigger shot in the arm for our season than winning with him.

I would have loved to see Hodgson get this time at the back but Hoy always has a crack.

Disappointing news because I was starting to believe we could win this one. But a piece of Ponga magic might have been just the thing to tip us over the edge in a tight contest. Without him and with Hoy we need an even more complete performance.

But the gut says we can match them physically in the end to end arm wrestle. I think there will be opportunities to win this game, I'm just not convinced we'll actually be able to take them.

AOB confirmed Brodie Jones would've been the one to replace Fitzgibbon so that's likely the plan going forward

Apparently its got something to do with ad blockers but even disabling all mine it still didnt come back

Maybe @Coby can shed some more light
That's because you turned it back on again. As I said, you have to leave it off for a while. Probably a long while if you've been running with an ad blocker for ages.

Win this we gain momentum and change the media perception, lose and it will be just a reality check to the pretenders.

Panthers are a machine, the loss of Ponga and Klemmer too great a hurdle. Hope I'm wrong.

I don’t think we change media perception with a win tomorrow. Panthers have all the excuses lined up for them.

It’ll be “wow the knights beat the panthers but it wasn’t the best Panthers team to show up.”.

But I could care less. I’ll take 3 wins to start the season any day.

We won the first four games one year and the media hardly mentioned us.
More mention when we got the wooden spoon or close to it the same year.

I'm hearing there's still issues with Mann. Starting at this stage but to be assessed.
I reckon we are too light on the bench.
