That week AOB spent preparing for the conditions using soapy balls and working into the breeze at training has worked a treat. Im sure in the presser he'll say he was happy with the effort and once we get Barny back everything will be tickety-boo

We are so disorganised.
Damn sure I don't want to hear this 'courage' thing from AOB.

I was born in Cronulla (moved to Newie when 4) so at least I have someone to follow when we fail.
Ain't going anywhere with that structure.

Sorry Alex … had to do it.

This will be an all-time classic post.

Has a bloke ever had a better game?

Absolutely demolished his opposite centre and winger.

Blew the stat machine up!!!

Was like watching MacDougall v Crocker all those years ago.

Million dollar spine players don’t really work at our club do they.

He’s been, and continues to be, a very big disappointment bar his first season.
No, sadly.

Yes, as soon as the opposition worked out the big step and the feeble defence it was all over. Darius Boyd mk II.

Don’t know what happened to the attack tonight. Even Mann at lock was playing different to the first 3 rounds- instead of him being the link between hooker and the halves out wide, he was often the one receiving the ball from the halves. Everything about tonight was off.

I hate Cronulla so it really hurts for me to say this but that tonight is how I want our team to play.

Structured attack that gets the best out of their outside backs. Forwards with mobility, power and mongrel. Halves who know to direct their team around and direct the teams attack without stupidity. Back three who are monster work rate players with a bit of flair.

To be fair, I don't think our players are too far off theirs in terms of ability. It's definitely a coaching thing.

They're a team that buys into what they want to achieve and they are all on the same train. Finucane and Hynes have turned out to be perfect buys for them. Moylan and Fifita are having career resurges. They're style of play is perfect for 2022.

Not prepared to write us off this year because we did show in the first 3 we have something good to work with. But they need to figure out what the f**k went wrong tonight and don't do that again.

And I really do hate to bash the bloke but leader Ponga was an issue tonight. Be fair dinkum and ask how we would have went with Hoy tonight? Not hard to fathom we would have been better...

We are missing Klem and definitely missing Barnett and Fitzgibbon now, as crazy as it is to say..

Also worrying Frizell didn't finish this game.. Time to move Best to second row?

I was surprised to see @Alex28 even having a go at Ponga! All I need next is to see @The Axe of Druss say Ponga was bad and then I think it's official everyone has had enough of those kind of performances!
You saw the game as well…

To be fair, I’ve been complaining for a while he wants to hide out the back on fullback money but not actually do anything a fullback does. The refusal to run the ball back first tackle is incredibly frustrating.

I’d say put him in at 6, but he isn’t the best option there either.

Think Bradman is a ongoing concern, just have not kicked on since that debut year.

It’s like we came with a wet football mindset, which we didn’t change even though it wasn’t raining.
I’ve always been a Ponga fan and think we need him to threaten for a premiership, but if his performances over the next few weeks don’t improve 100%, I will pack his bags to go to the Dolphins.

What Talakai showed tonight is what everyone always expects of Bradman.

I'm still waiting for him to make that starching linebreak but he is just a battering ram.
