Tuala was already in the squad (if you re-read what I said, I was speaking specifically to the roster downgrade moreso). Look at the ins and outs from the club over the off season. Young -> out, Jenkins -> in.

We went from Tuala as depth (good situation), to Jenkins as depth (apparently horrid situation). Can't cut it any other way than a severe reduction in squad quality.
