Madge will get one up over his usurper Seibold and we can all stop slitting our wrists for a week.

... Hopefully.

Madge is light yrs ahead of the over-rated choker Seibold as a coach. No doubt this game is winnable but geez it sucks how often we come up against a massively maligned team at a time they’ve been under performing.

Past WT teams would get flogged @ Suncorp in this scenario against a talented team desperate to win however this will go down to the wire.

‘They don’t speak’: The ‘live’ feud between Anthony Seibold and Michael Maguire behind ‘grudge match of the year’

A “live feud” between Anthony Seibold and his former mentor Michael Maguire has set the scene for the “grudge match of the year” between the Broncos and Tigers on Thursday evening.

That’s the word from Fox League’s James Hooper, who lifted the lid on the pair’s long-running feud on The Matty Johns Podcast.

According to Hooper, Seibold and Maguire haven’t spoken since Seibold was elevated to the head coaching role at South Sydney while Maguire was ousted.

“I reckon this game is the biggest grudge match of the season so far,” Hooper said on Episode 5 of The Matty Johns Podcast.

“This game in terms of the two head coaches is a real live feud.

“I don’t think they’ve spoken, Michael Maguire and Anthony Seibold, since Maguire was sacked as South Sydney coach. I don’t know that they will be speaking after this game.

Paul Kent added: “I guarantee you they haven’t spoken and I guarantee you they won’t be speaking.”

Well, well, well, game on, hope we do it for Madge:D:D;)

It will be the same as the Penrith grudge match, but I expect we will not get close to golden point. Brisbane could not play as badly as Riff did

This is a certain win for Broncos....our defence is much improved, but our attack and goal kicker are poor.....we won’t score enough points to win this one.

I feel opposite, I've been feeling like we will get them all day. Massive unrest in Brisbane

Lets be honest, they have bigger problems than us. We should be 3 and 4

Gotta get over the what we've always done in the past stuff....pretty sure Brooks might be the only player from tonight's run on side that started the season 2 years ago under Taylor....add Eisenhuth ( maybe..not sure) from the bench...new successful coach who's just started his tenure. The fatalism over last weeks golden point loss has been ridiculous....Souths and broncos have more problems to figure out right now than we have....Farah and Marshall are our only links to any historical mindset and so far they've been fine....this coach amd team arent locked into anything from the past....it's last year's Cleary team that through no fault of its own has had to start all over again...it CANNOT be all up to speed yet...plan A is to wait till it is....plan B is there isn't one. Defence is the truth about attitude so for me so far so good after 4 rounds.

We were pretty good in that first half. The effort was great.

2nd half..The more Brooks runs the better we look.....nullified their momentum and building some of our own...that much possession in our 20 for 1 try wont help their self belief....here's hoping anyway

I think we should feel like we have the upper hand there, only 2 points down yet Brisbane had enough ball to be up by 3-4 tries. We will win this if we play smart

It's been a good effort. They've bombed a few but so have we. They're targeting MCK on the edge. If we can hold on there we'll go a long way to winning

I'm feeling confident

Yes, agree, we weathered their big boppers and got back into it, good to see Marsters get his kick over.
Possession and defence against us was huge. Good signs but hope we haven't been burnt out.

Encouraging to see Hodgo off to the side drumming it into Mbye ....i do suspect the captaincy is distracting him...last year he was prowling through the centre ...we need him sniffing around the middle.
