This is the sort of match where we might be able to arse our way to a win. Or Cronulla failing their way to a loss. Either that or they'll win by 50. You almost shed a tear looking at their team and then ours. That's if you still care

I actually don’t think the sharks are that good on paper, however they have great structures which they clearly believe and are playing too. Have also had their 1-17 all year. I expect a loss but if had Doeuihi, Hastings, Stef, Blore and the injured centers to pick from it’s been 50/50 for mine

As I’ve said before… if the players compete on 95% of plays they will be competitive. That leaves the 5% of plays where try’s are scored no matter what you do.

Not sure we will win, but wouldn't surprise me if we did. From 3 of the 4 games we've played, we have been reasonably competitive and just need that 1% stuff to go our way and anything can happen.
As @Vic Mackey pointed out, we have been down on some quality troops from the start and it doesn't look like the club is panicking just yet and will give some of the spine players more time to get their mojo back, I guess we just have to hope they find it quickly?
But as I said previously, IMO, I don't see we have many other options anyway.

I think the Sharks are going to go far this year.

The only way we come close in this one is if they think the NRL is taking the piss by making them play us and they go on a week long bender and all catch aids.

Sharks haven’t had their 17 at all this year. We’ve never been full strength.

not sure that having a random centre or back rower out for a week or two takes that much effect when I’m referring to a team that’s had 7/8 out each week including 3 spine players on multiple occasions

Shame Roberts is out. I thought he was getting the hang of getting the ball with space to move. I Hope Toa kicks butt. See how much ball he gets from Luch? I think we have a backline that can be dangerous

We can whinge about team selections but reserves are getting pumped 0-5 now. I guess taking Madden, Simpkin out of that team they are shit.

Just my opinion but I rate the Sharks fullback I think he may carve up our middles. He isn't Tedasco or turbo but he plays like Ponga in my opinion.

Laurie apparently has tested positive to COVID. Is this a blessing in disguise. Could it be a stronger side with To’a at fullback and Garner in the centres?
