Another thing call my cynical, but we have been trying to offload both Reynolds and Packer for some time. The market place has shown virtually zero interest except the Dogs were keen on Reynolds if they could get him for next to nothing.

I was thinking maybe the club wants to give them a chance to showcase their talent to drum some interest in the market place so we can get a big chunk of cap space for next year.

More than likely I am way off the mark but nothing would surprise me anymore..especially our mob

Was equally cynically thinking the same....

Or, he realised that the troops he thought were going to take us forward are not quite up to the job just yet.

Madge is having second thoughts on letting him go early...or at least right now
I'm sure that's correct Das.

Most likely still in 2 minds regarding height, which is Jennings or perhaps Talau. He knows that Jennings has no heart and is not up to it now (taken him a while to work that out). So he had to go with Talau. So I think it could be a few weeks b4 CT gets a game but he would be next in line as a fullback & next in line as a winger but even then it could be a case of AD being moved to wing and CT to fullback.

Now that Talau has been given a chance, he has to be given more than 2 games.

Hopefully BJ fires up against his old team. Pretty sure Wicky blamed him for their GF loss

Jack Wighton in doubt with concussion.

Being winter and getting cold, and all . . . I have a question ahead of the Canberra game.
If you warm up the vaseline beforehand, are it's lubricating qualities greatly affected ?

I have a feeling that Russell Packer will still give us some value this year. His work rate was always a concern however he rarely gets dominated in the middle. Always lands on his stomach in attack and in defence gets the ball carrier on their back. With the quicker ruck Id look for Grant to run off the back of his hit ups.

Yeah we really only need about 15 minutes of quality either side of half time from him which should save him from getting gassed in the middle. I would be rotating him with Aloiai who can easily push out 25 minutes each half

Tigers right side has conceded 11 tries this season (most of any side) and Benji has been cited with 6 'try-causes' from FoxSportsLab, the most of any half along with the most missed tackles and the worst TE%
Is a try-cause an assist?

its like an assist for the other team I.e if you miss a tackle that leads directly to a try, throw an intercept etc

Ok
Benji’s prob going to too many meetings...I think This’ll do him good...I didn’t know he was involved with mostly everything with the club.

Madge and Benji being tight isn’t good..Madge needs to have a good look at things himself.

You can’t overload Benji. He’s not built for that.Thats why he didn’t want to kick originally. And his kicking turned to shite. I think this’ll be a positive move.

I’m still in the in the ‘I’m never watching these useless merkins again’ phase

They’ll probably put in a great performance, just to make me hate them even more

i definitely won't be watching it live . it was an unforgivable season ending performance .
at least the coach reacted the correct way , but i need time after allowing myself to believe .

Agree last week was soul destroying. Got excited after the sharks game and was let down badly again...

Imagine how easy it’d be to support the roosters??
