Would like that, Watson to 14 and Guerra in, Ese’ese to bench, likely our strongest possible side.

Like the sound of that but sounds like Herman is on the nose for some reason.
Don’t know if you are apart of the knights offical facebook group . But they do a 15min Q&A about team selections on Tuesday . They said Herman is strong carrying the ball but has to work on his effort areas in defence

Cheers mate. No I'm not. I get the points re defence but surely so much more upside to the team than having King there (noting he was pretty solid on Sunday)....

Meanwhile we have Sione starting in our 13 every week leading the NRL for missed tackles and averaging 51.7m a game.

Herman must not have liked Brown’s wife butter chicken.

They well sorta don't play in the same position soooo... What's your point?

Just read Kalyn Ponga has flown back to NZ for a relatives funeral which is on Thursday. Articles said Knights thought he would be back for game but weren't going to pressure him

yeh there must be more to it than defensive issues. He recently lost his father so maybe he isnt mentally up for the pressure of first grade right now. Hope he comes good because I really like Herman, good footy player and comes across as a good bloke.

Another hooker thrown on Brown's scrap heap. He should pull the boots back on.

See here for the continued reference to Brown's inability to settle on an 80 min hooker four years into the gig. He seems hell bent on giving uitlity backs the nod and having them share the duty like its a piece of cake to do well at NRL level.

Maybe then you can retract your misdirected quote and response in the other thread.

Many of us understand exactly why Slots has posted the above. Same reason I highlighted Reed Mahoney being able to play 80 mins of NRL when just out of the womb but our NZ test hooker apparently is not able to yet.

Some of you blokes need to grow a set and run your own race instead of jumping at shadows and seeking safety grazing with the herd.

Try it for change. Take a chance. Be original. Think for yourself. Man up brah!

maybe he prefers to save money in the cap and develop a young man with a hand full of NRL games into a Kiwi rep and continue to develop him until he's able to deliver a full 80 min of quality. .....just a guess.

but ur soooo big on the missed tackles. Mahoney does 80 but is 2nd on the Fox stats in missed tackles. ( above Sione ) but yet he delivers "80 min of quality" ummmm please tell us more

I don't see it as a biggie that Levi isn't an 80 minute player.
It was mentioned in this week's team announcement that he is the #1 hooker for us and that they are ok with resting him provided his performance is up when he's out there.
I don't think any hooker can keep it up for the full game - they often step back to rest up a bit but are there to selectively inject if needed.
Mention was made that Levi is closer to being out there for the full 80 and the hope is that he will get that far.

Was merely an observation pointing out your hypocrisy criticising Sione for his missed tackle stats then praising Mahoney as a machine etc when he’s right up there in the missed tackles stat as well

So you do want Brownie fired but just cannot say it?

Who should we sign?

Getting tiring. For a guy accusing others of lacking originality you are f**king boring. Same old whinge but zero ideas on how to fix it.

No problem that you have an opinion but you do seem to react to anyone that does not see ur point of view..

In my mind Brown has till this year. If he cannot get this team to the 8 assuming reasonable injury count then start scouting late in the year and recruit a proper replacement.

If all we can get is a Barrett or similar then f**k it, why waste money. If we vannot recŕuit a gun may as well keep Brownie unless he loses the room.

If things go pear shaped late in the year then bring in the Best and Star types knto outside backs and let them find out.

Or just make the f**king 8...

Simple questions Pedge...

Would you like to see Brown settle on a spine for our team sooner or later?

Are you concerned in any way about our lack of consistency of player selections in those positions?

I think Brown only needs to be consistent in his selections and stop f**king around with buying and playing guys like utility backs in one of the most important positions in a team and he may get this side winning. But for some reason he f**king won't. I want to see him pick our strongest 1-17 and in particular our best 13 to start each week. It's not up to us to come up with answers for him... they are in front of him ffs.

I appreciate everyone's point of view Pedge but do not see why one can't respond to others who purposely twist or seemingly misinterpret (for lack of a better term) some of what has been posted.

No, I don't want Brown fired as you have queried a few times now .... but he is going a long way to getting his employer thinking that way. Honestly, the next 2 rounds of footy are definitely his most important 2 games since coming here. The last 3 yrs of recruitment, player development and coaching need to get this side those 2 wins. Otherwise the season is probably gone. Two wins and at least we are alive for a while to come.

As for being unoriginal, do you like to watch/read some who are aligned with the herd come in to drop a shit one liner and nothing else footy related when they read something they don't agree with? Maybe you could start having a go at those types for be boring and unoriginal and devoid of ideas to fix Brown's problem with settling on a spine or any other footy related banter???

Oh I know what you were attempting to do, it was herd related.

Even so, if people are still excusing Sione for leading the NRL in missed tackles with 100 games and into his 6th season of first grade then how the hell could they have a go at 12 gamer, 18 yr old Mahoney anyway? No hypocracy there at all. Extreme naivety possibly.
